My feet have changed size since being pregnant. They were swollen during pregnancy, swelling is now all gone done but my feet are not fitting in my old shoes. Has this happened anyone else? Will they go back or do I need to start buying a whole new shoe collection?

Yes feet grew with baby 1, then went back to normal after, then grew even more with baby 2, still huge now. So wide I buy shoes a size bigger. All old shoes given away, some kept hoping feet would shrink, dd now has them.

It could also be that your arches have fallen, which could also cause your feet to spread and change shape.

This happened to me, but as I was only wearing soft shoes I didn't notice the change in shape until my knees started hurting like hell about 3-4m after the birth of dc1. Eventually a physio diagnosed fallen arches and I started wearing orthotics. Within weeks my knees stopped hurting - but I still needed larger shoes to accommodate the orthotics.

Pregnancy wrecks your body in ways that you cannot imagine.

Yes may be flat feet, worth checking.

but my feet were huge for a while - they went back to their pre-pregnancy size once my youngest was 3 or 4.

Youngest is 12 and I’m still a whole size bigger 😭

Same here, but only happened with baby no3, gone from a 6 to 7. Sold all my shoes on eBay and got new ones. Bit annoying when you have shoes you like. Xx

Oh wow OK this could be it because my knees and legs are in bits sometimes

Mine went back to normal after two DC. But incidentally, I put on a lot of weight a few years ago and went up a shoe size. Despite losing it, I'm still a shoe size bigger?!
