Lip Tie??

Hello all,

Any advice on cutting of lip ties? Please see image of my DD’s attached.

I had her lip tie examined a few months ago and I was told she would be referred. Unfortunately this referral was rejected with no reason. In the beginning, her latch was horribly painful, causing bleeding nipples, cracks etc. I managed to express and bottle feed for a short while whilst they healed. I was able to push through with exclusively breastfeeding after due to having lack of sensitivity in my nippled (due to cosmetic surgery many year sago. - that I regret but that’s another story) Feeding can still be painful at times and the GP we saw stated in the upcoming months she may have trouble feeding via bottles/cups and a gap may occur including speech delay.
Out of the 4 classes, I believe she said she was either a 2.5 or 3.

As she is now 7 months, I would like to stop breastfeeding only and move onto the bottle/cup and wean but she will not take it, and moans when trying to drink, I am wondering if this is lip tie related. I will be getting her re-examined by the GP next week as I am keen to start her on solids but apprehensive as she probably will not take the recommended water alongside.

Any recommended private clinics at all in the London area?

Thank you
