Overwhelmed!!

I would just really like some advice or tips as I am struggling this week.
(Myself and DH have a newborn and toddler)

How do you deal with the times when you feel completely overwhelmed?
I feel like I'm failing at every aspect of my life at the moment. Being a bad mum, being a bad wife, messy house, bad friend, bad daughter.

Does anyone have advice on how you get through these times ?

Thanks in advance xx

Sorry to hear you're feeling this way OP, that's so tough! As someone who has just been through the newborn plus toddler stage and felt exactly the same, I just want to reassure you that it does get easier! I promise it does.

Take each day as it comes and remind yourself that it will get easier. It's very full on right now but won't always be. Speak to those around you, be honest about how you're feeling. Get support from your HV and GP if you can. Make small snippets of time for self care and be kind to yourself.

The first 6 months went as a blur and now I'm coming up for air a bit more and I'm keeping everything crossed you will be soon too 💗.
