3 months old baby suddenly not sleeping well

My DD is 13 weeks today and has not been sleeping well for past one week at least . Before that, she has been sleeping minimum of 4 hour stretches at night since 8th week and will sometimes go as long as 8 hours. For the past one week though, she makes a lot of noise, keeps squirming, kicking her legs, and pulling her ears during the sleep, eventually waking herself up again and again. I have been swaddling her since birth, and now she breaks out of swaddle easily . I am also using white noise and a pacifier but not much help. Her pacifier falls out due to constant squirming, and then she starts crying. anyone else experienced this? And any tips?

I think the advise is to stop swaddling at 8 weeks incase they start to roll over. But, if you’re still going to swaddle I got these for my DC ( I have bad hands and can find it difficult to get a good swaddle sometimes)

The Velcro hasn’t given way yet!

Or you could try a sleep bag?

She has not started to roll yet, and I had already started to put her in a sleeping bag to transition from swaddling. With sleeping bag, she would hardly sleep so I had to resort to swaddling in the middle of the night as that improved her sleep a little bit still not as good as it used to be.

I had tried these swaddlers and also the one from ergonaby which doesn't restrict her legs and hips. She has been sleeping perfect , it's just that past one week or so, something has changed.

It could just be a sleep regression phase or a growth spurt. Hopefully it doesn't last too long and she settles into a more normal routine soon.

Sending huge hugs for you- you must be shattered!
