Pouches. Pouches are your friend when out and about.

That and sandwiches

just like the fruit pouches? I know you can get the dinner type ones but then its warming them in boiling water aha x

You don't need to warm up the dinner ones. You can just open and go.

If they don't eat it all, pop it in a cool bag and give it for tea.

leonaaaa · 26/11/2021 16:01

what type of dinner ones? some say you have to stand in boiled water like beef stew for instance x

You don't need to warm them, babies don't know any better! Mine will happily eat a cold Ella's spag bol pouch etc

Twizbe · 26/11/2021 16:08

All types. They can be water just as is. I used Ella's kitchen and Sainsbury's own brand ones loads.

Twizbe · 26/11/2021 16:09

Used not water

leonaaaa · 26/11/2021 16:24

They don't have to be heated.
Pouches are good when out and about. take a plastic baggie for a spoon. You can also get the spoons that screw onto a pouch- less mess :D

We took DD camping when she was 8 months and made loads of things like Glamorgan sausages, Welsh cakes, feta cubes, the standard melty sticks and pouches which were life saving! When eating out for lunch one of us tended to have jacket potato, beans and cheese which was always a hit with DD.

Pinkstegosaurus · 26/11/2021 16:38

They can definitely have the meat ones cold with no issues (unless pouch/jar says otherwise) but 🤢🤢🤢 at cold spag bol!
