Babies after Covid Vaccination

Hi, really hoping not to get into a heated debate.

Only looking for reassurance from mums who had both Covid jabs while pregnant and have had babies since.

Maybe just a simple yes in responses, again for my reassurance.

Naturally I am sceptical but for no other reason than I am super anxious with my pregnancy as a whole - nothing to do with how I feel about the coronavirus vaccinations, I just haven't had it yet and wanted to hear other mums who have had both jabs while pregnant and then had their babies.

Thank you.

Had both, all fine with me and our baby. No evidence to suggest it poses any risk to you or your child but plenty of evidence that Covid can be very dangerous for pregnant women in their third trimester. With the high incidence at present, which will only get higher due to our governments lax approach to precautions, I would strongly encourage you to have your vaccines.

I had both jabs during pregnancy & I now have a perfectly healthy 6 week old

Had first jab at end of second trimester and second when baby was a couple of days old as that was when it was due.
Baby now 4 months and no problems

I'm a GP - lots of my patients had covid jabs during pregnancy and had perfectly healthy babies. I also know of some women who didn't have the vaccination and ended up in ITU and one who died of covid in late pregnancy, unvaccinated. get the vaccine asap.

I had both jabs whilst pregnant (Moderna) and both me and my baby are healthy.

I had both jabs and have a perfectly happy and healthy 3 month old baby boy

I only had one Covid vaccine while pregnant and the other whole breastfeeding (would of had both in pregnancy but I gave birth in the gap between vaccines) my baby is perfectly healthy.

I’m sorry you’re feeling so anxious, pregnancy can be such a rollercoaster x

Had both jabs in pregnancy (AZ 3rd trimester) and booster a few weeks ago while breastfeeding (pfizer). All has been absolutely fine and she seems to have actually gained some immunity since we were both exposed to covid at a playgroup and neither of us tested positive while most there did!

I had my first jab in the second trimester, second jab in the third trimester. Twin babies now three months old and perfectly fine, as am I. Pregnancy can be such an anxious time, and it's totally understandable to be worried about new vaccines- but for me I was more concerned about catching covid and ending up in hospital so getting vaccinated was a no brainer.

An example of why COVID is something pregnant people should be vaccinated against.

Kona84 · 06/12/2021 05:50

Kona84 · 06/12/2021 05:52

Oh my I didn’t mean to add the photo with the horrendous stewie filter my baby honestly doesn’t look like stewie

Had two Pfizer jabs in pregnancy and baby came absolutely perfect :) really glad I did seeing pregnant women stuck in hospital.

There was good studies available showing that the vaccine itself doesn't cross the placenta only organic antibodies made by mum. I followed a scientist on Twitter called Viki Male who shares the published papers with a helpful brief explaining the results. Really helped me make up my mind.

Was extra grateful when I got Covid within his first 2 months and he appeared to have my symptoms which I put down to vaccines and breastfeeding combo
