Hi

Wondering if anyone can give and advice or have seen anyThing similar to this?
My daughters gum seems to have a strange shape. I've already had her to the dentist about her upper frenulum to be told she's most likely going to have a gap in her teeth and they would only look at cutting it if it caused her any problems.
Now my concern is the shape of her gum, it seems to go in a V shape and has done since birth but I'm beginning to worry what this will also mean for her teeth. I'm pretty sure my sons gum was straight.. anyone else's LO had this?
(Sorry for awful pic!)
Thanks

She's got a really low and tight fraenum so very likely to have a gap between her front teeth. It can be corrected surgically when she's older if needed. It shouldn't affect her teeth.
As long as her uvula (dangly bit at the back of our mouth) is there and not split I wouldn't be worried.

Thank you, I can't seem to get in to see the dangly bit at the back but I'll keep an eye.
Do you think the arch of her gum will cause a problem? It seems really high to me!
