Period returned 9 weeks postpartum!!

I’ve exclusively breastfed all 3 of my children, periods didn’t return until approx 1 year with 1 & 2 but have just returned after 9 weeks with dc3! Why?! I was looking forward to the break! Is it a hormonal thing? Cannot understand the drastic change this time…

I’m only 8 weeks post partum, exclusively breastfeeding and I had a few spots last week. I was like you must be joking!!! I suspect next month, I will get a proper period 😬🤦🏼‍♀️
