Not sure if this is the right place to post but my baby is 1year and 3 weeks old and was born weighing 7lb 4oz which is exactly average for a baby girl in UK so she was 50th centile! She's now on the 25th.
Previously she had always been bigger than her age in clothes.
I'm a bit worried now as she weighs 18lb 6.4oz and although in bodysuits she wears 12-18 months this size in sleep suits are too long in the legs -it seems like her legs haven't grown since she went into 9-12 month sleep suits at 7 months old!! She is very active she doesn't sit still ever she's been cruising since was 7 months old, crawling since just before 10 months and standing alone a while and just recently started walking.
Should I be worried I don't know as my first was always small for her age anyway!
I don't need medical advice as I'm seeing the nurse a week today for her jabs so I'll check just wandered from experience please!
Phew sorry for the long post!

My daughter is 1 next week and weighs just over 24lbs (11kg). She has always tracked along the 95-97th centile lines

If she's happy don't worry too much. My 6mo is 16lbs, when weighed two weeks ago and is just above 50th pc. Apparently babies burn a lot of baby fat when they get active which yours sounds like they're doing Xx

Thanks for your replies she's always smiling and giggling so I think she's happy she has 3 meals a day and breast milk in a morning, nap time and bedtime too!
