Moses basket or not

Hello everyone, I was wondering what everyone's opinions are on Moses baskets and if you think they're worth the money. I don't remember them being this expensive with my daughter (3 years ago). And I don't know if I should get one again?

And if not, what else would you recommend for when baby sleeps downstairs in the day? I can't be lugging the cot in our room up and down the stairs in the day and need something for baby to sleep in/on when I'm downstairs.

Thanks in advance:) x

Keep an eye on the baby and toddler events on aldi! I got my Moses basket for £30. I too was undecided about getting one but i figured for that price it was worth a shot.

Never used one. Used the carrycot bit of the pram or a reclined buggy for downstairs

I was gifted one and have used it loads. I bought a next to me crib but it seemed too big for the baby in the first few months.
