Who said late spring/early summer was a great time for a baby?!

It's gorgeous outside but I can't really go outside with my newborn unless in the shade, but I can't be bothered either as I'm knackered from no sleep and half naked pretty much constantly as its easier for BF. Baby is hot so can't be swaddled, won't sleep in the basket unless pinned down by swaddling or blankets but it's too hot. Feeling glued to the sofa desparately needing just an hour kip Confused is this normal or does everyone live more normally than me with a newborn?!

Me! Baby 2 days old, I need a summer BF dress as can't face anything on my lower half after delivering a 9lb4 whopper!

My daughter is 5 weeks old and i'm the same, can't say i'm loving the newborn phase, it's just constant feeding and cluster feeding for hours each night. Easier to stay in! esp in this heat. I miss having a good 10 hours sleep on a night and a lie in!! 😳 currently trying to get her to go to sleep.
