...if that's even a thing. Did anyone get you / the mama anything?

I often find that the Mum falls off the radar as soon as the baby arrives. I got a few scented candles, bath oils etc which were nice touches, but the bath oil still sits looking pretty on the shelf now.

Interested to hear your experiences.

My bestfriend did me a post baby gift bag and told me not to open it until I got home from hospital. It had lush products (inc bath bombs x 2, shampoo, body wash, soap bar), my fav lint chocolate, a £30 just eat voucher, paracetamol, this Coconut moisturiser I love, and a ‘when your ready for a date night’ a baby sitting voucher Grin. It was all very much appreciated and a lovely thing for her todo. X

I didn’t get anything for me, but I didn’t expect anything either.

A hamper of champagne, pate and cheese. All things I’d really missed! I also from a close friend got a bag of nice toiletries, face masks, lip balm etc and a scented candle and a box of socks for me. They were both really kind gestures as they had bought for baby too.

My sisters got me a hamper full of things like aloe Vera cream, face mask, face cream, massage oil, slippers, pyjamas. It was the thought that counter and it made me feel special. It was poundshop stuff but really lovely.

Ready made food, especially one handed healthy snacks, and posh soft drinks.

Also a nice water bottle. I was constantly thirsty in the early days of breastfeeding.
