Metronidazole and smelly nappy

I'm taking 400mg of metronidazole twice a day as we're waiting for swabs to come back for a possible BV infection and also my c-section area might be infected. I'm also meant to be taking cefalexine but it's taken a day later to get that from the pharmacist and I'll hold off taking any more antibiotics for now - if my swabs come back with any infection I can start to take them then. However, since taking the metronidazole yesterday I have noticed baby's nappy is a bit musty smelling, I asked the pharmacist and he said it'll likely be because metronidazole can make the breast milk butter and therefore change baby's Urine smell. Does anyone have any experience of this? I'm going to call the GP tomorrow xx
