Hi all as per subject just wondering how often your breast fed babies feed and how long are they on the breast for?
My baby was 6 weeks premature and is EBF (just introduced a bottle of EBM before bed) doesn't seem to be any nipple confusion, however I can't shake the feeling of is my baby getting enough. I sometimes have to wake him after 3 hours and he doesn't always seem to feed for very long! He is due to be weighed again at the end of the week but is gaining weight and loads of wet and dirty nappies. I think I'm more worried as he is a premature baby he is still generally sleepy anyway so is he content cause he is full or just sleepy because he's premature! 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ any advice would be appreciated! Very anxious mummy about everything!!!! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ xxx

My three week old feeds in 10 minutes flat. After that she clearly comfort sucks (nipple in mouth but suck very occasionally) till she falls asleep. Mine also sleeps A LOT. Night feeds are mostly dream feeds for which I set the alarm clock, the only feed she reliably wakes for is 2am.
Sounds like you are doing well if he is gaining with plenty of nappies.
