Travelling at late trimster

I am planning on to text my midwife on Monday to discuss this but I couldn't wait so I want to see your opinion on this.

I will be 36+6days when I go to Scotland (if it is ideal) for 2 nights so my question is... Is it okay to travel at 37weeks pregnant? It is 2 hours and a half away and I am at low risk pregnancy.

The only thing they’ll likely say is that 37 weeks is classed as full term, so technically baby could come at any time then. So you’d probably just need a back up plan; look at local hospitals, have your hospital bag with you as a just in case! You wouldn’t want to risk not having that kind of plan in place. It’s absolutely impossible to say when baby will choose to arrive!
