Hi...just want to ask how often do you bottle feed your newborn and how many mls per feed? i know they have tiny stomachs but..how much is ok to give? I was BF with my first, on demand (18 times a day and she was still hungry as I didn't have much milk), don't want to do it again..i'm due in few weeks time, just getting things ready..bottles, formula etc..

Just do it on demand, just like you would with breastfeeding.

DS was drinking 5 x the recommended amount from day 1, midwives were shocked, but he has always remained on the 50th centile so clearly what he needed

If baby if hungry, feed.

Oh and just for reference, DS fed every 1.5-2 hours for 5 months, just like a breastfeed baby.

But seriously, don't let yourself overthink it too much

just offer 60 ml and see if they drain or just munch a little. If they drain it they need more next time if they dont then just stick to 60ml

My baby is just over 2 weeks old and she is now taking between 90-120ml ever 2.5 to 3 hours. If she isn't hungry she stops drinking. So I'd say let baby drink what baby needs all babies are different xx
