Post partum period delay. Please help!

I had my baby girl in early december via emergency c-section. After a month of combi feeding she has been exclusively bottle fed since early january.
I had the usual loss of lochia for around 6/7 weeks, but no period since. I know that I had a lot of blood loss during surgery and was on iron tablets as I was anaemic following this. Has anyone experienced something similar following a c-section? If so, when did your periods return? I know it's usually within 3 months if you're not breastfeeding 🙈

I havent had a c section hun but i also had a baby in early december i bled for nearly 8 weeks the next one was siix weeks later then another 3 weeks later so i know they can be all over the place . I would speak to the gp to but your mind at rest not much help but didnt want you to go unanswered zz

Elective section my period took 6 months to return I didn't breast feed either. But omg you can look out when It comes back it was the heaviest iv ever had think it was six months saved up x

I had a section in Jan and bled for 6 weeks afterwards. Had my first period (and agree with the PP, it was HEAVY) 5 weeks after the end of my lochia bleeding and then another one two weeks after that. Doctor said they could be all over the place for up to 12 months post partum.

C-section here too. Periods returned relatively normally after about 3-4 months but only had about 2 periods and then nothing for 6 months. Have eventually been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and put on tablets to regulate hormones. They mentioned I did have post part in thyroiditis when they tested my blood after birth as was anaemic. Anything like that with you?

Hi OP, I had my second baby on the 2nd December via c section and he is formula fed... I haven't yet had a period and I am not overly bothered tbh I think it can take a while. Are you on the pill yet?
