Hi, a friend of mine is due in the summer and she's having a pretty rotten pregnancy on top of this lockdown business.

My friends and I are doing her a baby box with all the usual things but I wanted to also do a box for her for afterwards and looking for ideas to put in it.

After I gave birth I was just great full someone brought me a thermos mug so I could have a hot cup of tea in the night.

Any more ideas ?

Thermos is a great idea. How about comfy loungewear, biscuits, a food voucher/takeaway voucher or some nice moisturiser?

Some lovely hand cream as the amount of extra hand washing (even before all that's going on just now) takes a toll on your hands.
Some nice bath products and maybe some essential oil (I loved tea tree oil in my bath for healing after having my son).

As someone who is currently pregnant and due in summer I would love some nice drinks like aperol, flavoured cider or champagne for after the birth. Obviously pending an uneventful delivery.

That's a lovely idea.

I would like scented candles, face mask, moisturiser, chocolate.

What a great idea! We also did a baby box at my baby shower in November last year:

This is what it contained:

Shampoo
Magazines
Baby clothes including a hat and shoes
Baby toys
Baby books
Bottles
A blanket
A blank photo album
Lavender oil

After I delivered I was grateful for most of the items.
