Yes, but daisy a med glass of wine is not half a bottle! That's where I always slip up!!

I have been good today, rice crispies for breakfast, low fat cuppa soup thingy and wholemeal bread roll for lunch. The thing is now I am so hungry I know I am going to snack whilst cooking the dinner!

I have not had such a healthy food day. And am hopefully having lush tea tonight too. Ah well, there's always tomorrow

Ewww..ta that's horrid! Have you tried washing and sunning them? Some people use hippy washing stuff, like soap nuts, use some proper detergent on them or try soaking them in vanish!

I have washed them and stuff and tumbled them (as they were like cardboard) but I am pretty annoyed.

I haven't put it on ebay coz I know you're interested, aren't I nice?! I sold one of them on MN and I've got the other 2 on ebay.

I know TA, I wouldn't put stained nappies on my children either! That is why I'm so careful about soaking and rinsing and washing. I hate stained nappies and I want to be able to resell them once I've finished!

Yep, I use non-bio on everything. Usually Fairy, it smells the nicest!

I don't soak, and so far no nappy stains (well one small one that disappeared the sun). I do wash at 60 though. One of the wraps is stained though - wouldn't sell that on.

I mean that the stain disappeared in the sun. Mind you some of DDs poos are big enough that they could block out the sun!

I bought ecover and it isn't that great. will stick to fairy next time.

I soaked some yesterday as they were very pooey and the stains washed out better, so maybe soaking is the way forward.

Can't be doing soaking I'm afraid

Haven't used Ecover laundry stuff yet but I LOVe their wooden floor cleaner. Also use their loo cleaner and multi purpose apray cleaner and they seem fine.

Anyone got a Loola? I've used the carrycot up till now with mine but now want to try the buggy part. it says suitable from birth but when i put DD in the harness is in line with her ears not coming over her shoulders. She doesn't seem comfy in it - looked like a stunned mullet. I know she is a teeny weeny wee thing but is about 10 1/2 lbs now so surely bigger than most newborns - apart from Holly's . Not sure its safe to use now.

Not got a lool, but if we put DD in our tatty old Maclaren the shoulder straps are also at ear level, but it lies flat, so the straps aare pretty redundant at this stage.

Can you lie it flat and just use the waist straps? or does it sit at an angle? Don't know the Loola, sorry!

It reclines Daisy but not totally flat. The shoulder straps are attached to waist bit so all or nothing. Don't the straps rub on yr DD's ears tho ?

Ooh, I've been asked to go to another mum's house tomorrow afternoon! I've met her at bumps and babies a few times and I saw her in the dr's today. she is having a few mum's over and invited me! Plus i got talking to a really nice mum in starbucks, we were chatting for about an hour.

DD seems pretty fine after her jabs today.

I feel a bit left out of all this real nappy malarky - can anyone recommend me the definitive nappy?!

Sounds fun Bumper. Is nice to spend time with other mums & bubs. No one minds when yr wee one screams, fills their nappy or pukes or when u have to get the boobs out.

I think part of the fun is meant to be finding one you like, plus different types work for different people, ie, small, tall, chubby babies, heavy wetters etc

For me personally I want fun looking ones that are easy to use, that are absorbant up to 3 hours during the day, are reasonably slim fitting and are fast to dry.
So far I am preferring pocket nappies as they are quite slim fitting and are proving pretty quick to dry, also less hassle with wraps.
It's a minefield...but it's quite fun!
Some people are pramaholics, at least nappies are cheaper

Dont think my LO is very well ....she's being sick quite a lot which isn't like her and I've had a couple of horrid green runny nappies...she is taking her milk though and although a bit clingy isn't massively unhappy...

I can't afford to try them all out! I want definitive answers!
