perfectly normal Daisy, which is why at this VERY stage LOADS of mothers start to feed their babies solids!!!!! She WILL calm down again, but right now your LO is just growing rapidly and doing what is completely natural by sucking fists, you tried giving her a dummy?

loonylovegood · 09/09/2007 22:14

Sorry about that brief appearance earlier! I've posted on doggus's wall, so hopefully she'll pop on and say hi soon.

I've got a bumble daisy!!

derlor · 09/09/2007 22:14

BTW - at your 12 hour sleep stints, impressive!!!
DD manages 8-9 hours and i thought that was good!

derlor · 09/09/2007 22:15

WTF's a bumble?

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/09/2007 22:16

i do, but I'm worried that I'm giving her a dummy when she should be feeding and as such it'll be affecting my supply.

But today I was feeding her and it was all coming back up again, so I'm thinking that her wee tummy was full. It's all so blardy confusing this....why don;t the little beggars come with a manual?

How's you anyway? how was the brewery?

My ds has just passed through that stage daisy. He's still fist sucking, but he's not screaming for food every 5 mins anymore. He has literally grown before my eyes over the past week, he has sort of skipped from newborn clothes to 3-6months overnight!

Natty, I'm sure you're not pg! You have been v stressed over the past few weeks, so that is prob why af is late.

loonylovegood · 09/09/2007 22:18

I've missed the past couple of days (computer has been overtaken by smelly boys), so am off to catch up!

BTW a bumble is a nappy!

derlor · 09/09/2007 22:19

believe me, when she is hungry, she WILL feed. Your supply will constantly change to suit her needs.
Brewary was good fun, DH tried the beer - i never, there was loads of other stuff to do like paintballing, archery, horse riding.....
went for a 6 mile bike ride as well today but it was so farking windy it felt like about 20 miles!!!

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/09/2007 22:20

derlor, it's a nappy....what else!

do you love it? and stroke it? I've added them to my wishlist, but I've got six bambinex bamboos coming this week, plus i've sent off for the council ones (2 baby behinds plus wrap), so am banned from buying any more for the moment.

derlor · 09/09/2007 22:21

a nappy i should have farking known!!!
any wet beds Holly?

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/09/2007 22:22

Stoopid question....why is your period referred to as AF? I'd never heard that until I came on here.

DH refers to it as "the painters and decorators being in"....yeuch!

ok im back. did a test (cheap ebay one) was neg.. but i dont trust these ebay tests...

derlor · 09/09/2007 22:22

Daisy how much have you actually spent on your new obsession? - is there a nappy anonymous group near you that you could join????????

derlor · 09/09/2007 22:23

Auntie Flo!!

derlor · 09/09/2007 22:24

it was new to me too.
FAB Natty, re-check in a couple of days though x

NattyThomasandEllen · 09/09/2007 22:25

my obsession is prams... i currently have 2 doubles, and 3 singles..
i think a nappy obsession would be cheaper..

loonylovegood · 09/09/2007 22:25

AF= Aunty Flo! We used to say it at school "I can't do PE today, sorry, Aunty Flo's in town!".

I have been stroking it daisy! I also have a fluffle and a Rikki wrap! It's fun buying nappies!

Glad you had a good day derlor! at the bike ride! I think I would have fallen off after about half a mile!

No wet beds ! It's a bloody miracle!

NattyThomasandEllen · 09/09/2007 22:26

yeah my mates got a "first responce" one at hers so when i drop the kids off to her tuesday will do a test then.. just to be sure
will prob come on wednesday

loonylovegood · 09/09/2007 22:27

Good news natty! Those ebay tests are pretty accurate, well they have been for me! Both times I have used them they were correct (one negative and one positive!).

Unfortunately I have a nappy and a pram obsession! I have 7 buggies in my house ATM!!

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/09/2007 22:28

to date have spent about £150....but have enough nappies to see me through to potty training. I can also sell them for about half what I paid when I'm done with them.

We worked out that with DS including all the pull ups/ pyjama pants we have spent nearly £1700

I figure that is a lot of new shoes and handbags

derlor · 09/09/2007 22:28

i've been cycling about 3 times a week for a few weeks now. Was easilly managing 6 miles....till today in the wind. Was thinking of upping the distance to about 10 miles but may have to rethink that one.

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/09/2007 22:30

I've got a bambinex teddy which is the same as the fluffle, it's lurvely and strokey and soft.

DH says it looks like a skinned cuddly toy

oh and I spent another £10 on terry squares.
