Just dropping by to say
My day cheered up after I last posted, my aunt A rang to say could she and her older daughter K come round, and I said ooh yes, that would be lovely. They came round with A's partner and K's teenage daughter, V. I also saw my dad. D got a bit grizzly late afternoon and early evening, but was happy when I started his bedtime routine and went to sleep very fast, think he must have been really tired.
Ellie, hope the christening goes really well. Katy, enjoy your party.

DP has promised that he will try and give me a bit of a protected rest in the morning, it's extremely kind of him since he must be shattered too, but I'm really looking forward to it - if I'm not asleep I will enjoy staying in bed for a little while anyway. What has my life become that the chance of a lie-in is so exciting?
