Peshatlast · 07/09/2007 21:13

Didnt see it, dp is playing resident evil on the wii now cos im on here. We only get 2 nights a week together so we like to make the most of them

elliek · 07/09/2007 21:14

well skott and matthew ate tea with me, we all had exactly the same, and they're fine

so yes, i'm guessing it's a bug.

hi everyone else. Pesha, how were asda when you called?

StealthPolarBear · 07/09/2007 22:41

i put my cash card on my car and drove off today have just had to cancel it

StealthPolarBear · 07/09/2007 23:03

Where is everyone? Do you all have lives or something?

elkiedee · 07/09/2007 23:16

Not unless you count having a huge row with dp as a life

StealthPolarBear · 07/09/2007 23:25

Oh no elkie?
Are you OK? Have you made up?

Peshatlast · 07/09/2007 23:53

Hi spb - Guy said he was glad I called as he was going to cancel cos he was stuck in southampton all day!! I said i'd tried leaving ds2 the day before and it hadn't gone well (not true) and so i didnt think he was ready to be left for so long yet (true!). He was fine about it and said would i like him to call me in a few months time and I said yes please!
Bummer about your cash card on the last day of our hols i opened my purse and my card fell out and went straight down between the boards of the decking i was standing on, couldnt have done that if id tried!! Thank god it was last day!

Elkie are you ok?

StealthPolarBear · 07/09/2007 23:58

glad it went well - sounds like he didn't have a leg to stand on
was so annoyed - it was all tesco's fault!! you know when you're filling your car up and if you push the nozzle right in the fuel cuts off? well that was happening so i used 2 hands to try to do it and put my card on the roof of my car
Not only that but i only managed to get £7 worth in about 10 mins - more frustrating than expressing!!

StealthPolarBear · 07/09/2007 23:59

elkie, really hope you're ok, off to bed now but will be about tomorrow xx

elkiedee · 08/09/2007 00:25

Have made up row, am still feeling a bit sad that it happened, and guilty and all that stuff. I'm just feeling really really tired. dp is stressed because he's got to look after Danny, and me, and his mum and he's really worried about her and there's no easy way out of this. The row itself was over nothing at all, but once these arguments start dp knows the things to say to hurt me. You can imagine that when I worry non-stop about whether I can care for D well enough already, it doesn't take much for bickering to turn into that huge and devastating argument.

Oops, sorry about that rant and feeling sorry for myself. Hopefully things will look brighter in the morning, as dp has another journey to Norfolk to do. My dad is coming to see us.

I'll get to see my mum briefly on Monday and then hopefully she'll be able to help me decide how to get the shower/taps unit thing sorted out. And Julie, friend a few streets and 2 mins walk away, and with a calm manner in a crisis, apparently has several neighbours who can fix windows and taps, install kitchen units etc etc quite quickly and for reasonable rates.

StealthPolarBear · 08/09/2007 07:59

oh elkie you sound so stressed
As for whether you look after Danny well enough - why don't you ask him? I bet he's his mummy's biggest fan

Sexonlegs · 08/09/2007 08:33

Morning all.

Ellie, hope you are feeling better.

What a pita about your credit card. We drove off with our camera on the roof of the car and lost it.

Elkie, hope you are ok today.

I have just had a major run in with dh and ended up calling him a w and punching his arm. I was shaking and competely manic. This is all to do with Becky as she has become so explosive. I think I am having a meltdown. I just want out.

StealthPolarBear · 08/09/2007 08:37

SOL
Can you go out for an hour or so? So sorry you are having a hard time of it

Sexonlegs · 08/09/2007 10:12

Just hoovered the entire house and let dh deal with the dd's. I just do not know what to do. I feel like a bomb is waiting to go off. I feel devoid of emotion for dh and both dd's.

Sorry for the rant.

StealthPolarBear · 08/09/2007 10:38

You need a break, some time to just do nothing
Sorry, I'm sure that's a big help!!

elkiedee · 08/09/2007 11:07

Thanks for the messages. Although we sorted out the row, I am still feeling sad, not just about that but a little low and anxious again generally.

dp is visiting Kings Lynn again today, am hoping he might get back before 9 but trying to make myself prepare for it being around 11 pm so I'm not too disappointed if it's a lot later than planned.

SOL, I think you sound like you need to give yourself a little break. Assuming that might not be possible, is there any way you could all get out for lunch somewhere fairly local so that you only have to prepare a little to get the girls out, or that your dh could take both dds while you have a rest.

Is it next week B starts school?

Hoping today gets better for you. I'll probably be around for most of it if it doesn't and you want to "talk" online. email my username at yahoo dot co dot uk if so. I do have messenger but don't really use it that much (I think that's hotmail com and I don't bother having a separate username).

Yuk, some horrible vehicle with a trailer load of rubbish has parked right outside my window. I wish that the normal cars would park there so there isn't space for this sort of thing. (We don't have a car so there's usually a parking space outside the house).

StealthPolarBear · 08/09/2007 11:14

Morning elkie
sorry to hear you're feeling low. have you spoken to your dp about that in particular?
suppose he's got enough to think about at the moment but it sounds like you need to talk to someone about it
Just got my next bounty pack - there's some apple and grape juice in there that looks very tasty - I'm going to have that later

elkiedee · 08/09/2007 11:15

That's all I need. dp's just sent me a message which makes it sound like his journey could be a whole lot more difficult than anticipated. Wish he'd looked at the train company website rather than the BBC sports pages and a quick glance at the published timetable.

elkiedee · 08/09/2007 11:16

He knows, too well. That's part of the problem at the moment, I can't hide when I'm down and it's just more stress for him.

StealthPolarBear · 08/09/2007 11:50

Is there anyone else (in RL) you can talk to about it?
