How often do you see your hv?

I saw HV after being signed off from midwife. Last week when ds2 was 2 weeks. She then made an appointment to see him and me when he's 7 weeks. And said there was no reason to see him in-between.
I don't have any concerns about ds2 but wondred if this is normal for most people?

sounds normal. i got one extra visit, cos she offered and i took it. but to be honest i find them next to useless - get much better advice on MN!

My HV is fab - offered me a job a couple of years ago! - They didn't get funding for it though!
I just wondered if Lo should be weighed more often? I'm sure my other 2 dc were.

Your HV sounds switched on - no need for frequent weighing of babies if all else is well.
