g'night all!

having a babymoon tomorrow with babyboo to see if we can't iron out some of our problems.

...but have wireless so can come on here when she is sleeping!

riabutterflew · 01/09/2007 23:55

Hi again. I feel I am missing out on this scrabble ting but have no time for facebook or my hotmail. Have spent this evening drinking wine with a RL friend who came to play with her DS3 and stayed to tea (inviting her DS1 who is a goth). It was FAB.

Natty I'm TS, but much prefer Ria (deed poll perhaps?)

Trace, glad chloe had a better day. Lots of love.

Daisy, hang on in there. Not long til school. The world is a scary place but we can do it.

Think I was going to say something to holly & foxy too but I'm buggered if I can remember what.

FWIW my mum used to be V anti-B/F but after 3 of her own DCs and 6 previous GCs she seems to be finally converted and keeps telling me not to give up. There is no pleasing some people! So long as we actually feed them does it matter what we are feeding them? (DS3 is much happier if I've had a couple of glasses of wine. Last night he slept til 7am. Here's hoping!)

DKMA - bugger about work, but hope you get whatyou want out of it. "As one door closes" and all that. I have never had a job I loved so don't know how it feels to lose one. (BTW, DHs ex-boss, if the rumours are to be believed, is allegedly being investigated by the IR. Still hasn't paid DH tho'...)

Hi to everyone else, and nite nite. Rx

riabutterflew · 01/09/2007 23:57

Can I admit to this on here?

DH and his "frisky romantic advances" - I keep falling asleep!

You would think he would get the message...?

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 02/09/2007 00:06

Ria - I think I'll need some form of 'therapy' before my DH is allowed to make any advances!!!!

riabutterflew · 02/09/2007 00:06

oh holly - more comfy shoes

riabutterflew · 02/09/2007 00:07

bloody hell, i've linked twice!!!

Have a good Sunday. AM off to my sisters I think.

Jamantha · 02/09/2007 09:07

Can't believe it - DD went to bed at 8pm last night and slept until 5.30am!! When I put her back in her basket at 6, we fullt expected her to complain, but after half an hour of chuntering, she fell asleep again until 8 oclock! I feel so rested

daisyandbabybootoo · 02/09/2007 09:28

well done baby Jamantha!

We've had a couple of relatively pain free feeds this morning. Tried to stay in bed doing skin to skin but babyboo is just too damn wriggly and interested in the world these days. She gets cross when i cuddle her in to my shoulder as she can't see what's going on.

Second feed of the day she managed a perfect latch!

daisyandbabybootoo · 02/09/2007 09:29

she's now lying on her changing mat watching television

but it's an educational nature programme

Jamantha · 02/09/2007 09:37

Baby Jam sat fascinated by BBC News 24 earlier! But is now asleep again on my lap.

Part of our walk yesterday was along a VERY bumpy path. Was worried at the time that it might be harming her , now that she;s so sleepy this morning am thinking the worst. Please tell me I'm being silly and paranoid and exhibiting classic first time mum symptoms?

NattyThomasandEllen · 02/09/2007 09:43

yup def being silly maybe the fresh air just made her sleepy!

morning all.. i know u are all thinking at me being on in the morning

ellen still being sick, but not as bad, ive only had 5 hours sleep

Charlie999 · 02/09/2007 09:45

Jamantha - she'll be OK from a bumpy walk....we do that all the time...its probably all that fresh air [smile..but I'm a firm believer in trusting your instinct....you will know if she isn't well....it is a bit un-nerving when they sleep through for the first time..I still wake up and think OMG is she OK?

Daisy - hope today is better. My DD is the same, far too inquisitive to be cuddled. We have a huge TV on the wall and I sit her in her swinging chair in front of it and she is fascinated. She lay in my bed this morning looking at the ceiling fan which was on, for ages!

Off out to look at new kitchens today

Jamantha · 02/09/2007 09:46

thanks Natty! Glad Ellen is a bit better

Charlie999 · 02/09/2007 09:48

Morning Natty

Sorry I buggered off on you all last night in the middle of our games but I was knackered . I got some sleep last night but the longest stretch was 3 hours

Natty - is Ellen not well? Poor little thing!

NattyThomasandEllen · 02/09/2007 09:57

yeah shes got a poorly tummy.. its my fault.. she was screaming for a milk on the train so i gave her bottled water, think it may have upset her little tummy. feeling guilty

Charlie999 · 02/09/2007 10:00

Well it sounds as if its sorting itself out and she is feeling a bit better...I've just been looking at your pics on FB...your DCs are gorgeous. Hasn't your DD got a lot of hair? Its lovely!

NattyThomasandEllen · 02/09/2007 10:01

yeah she has, for better pic (there one of her smiling!) have a look at www.2under2at21.blogspot.com

daisyandbabybootoo · 02/09/2007 10:11

natty, ellen is gorgeous, and very like thomas. you have lovely DCd. i love your blog as well. i wouldn't have an idea where to start with something ;ike that!

Jamantha · 02/09/2007 10:18

Yes, great pics and good blog.

I know now why she fell asleep so quickly at 9 after a full nights sleep until 8 She'd done an absolute monster poo! That always seems to wear her out. Unfortunately I didn't realise until it had seeped out of the nappy and wrap, soaked through the babygro and left a huge damp patch on my skirt. Nice

daisyandbabybootoo · 02/09/2007 10:36

It just gets worse

Jamantha · 02/09/2007 10:38

Poor Daisy. Poor Baby Boo

daisyandbabybootoo · 02/09/2007 10:41

just when i thought things were getting better, i appear to be producing cheese strings. FFS cheese strings, that so offends my artisan farmhouse cheese sensibilities

well, you gotta larf, or you'd cry!

daisyandbabybootoo · 02/09/2007 10:41

no wonder she's fretting on that boob, wants milk....gets cheese.

Jamantha · 02/09/2007 10:46

Big hugs to Daisy as we go off to pay the paper bill. Unfortunately can't do that online.

loonylovegood · 02/09/2007 11:15

Daisy I'm sure it's just concentrated milk or something from your blocked duct, it sounds horrible though. Hopefully it'll work itself out xxx
