Before I start, I know all the risks and this isn't a perfect solution or something we plan on doing every night.
Our 5 week old sometimes sleeps well in her side cot, but some nights she won't sleep at all unless she's held or lying next to us in bed, and on occasion she's slept on one of our chests while we dozed. I think it'd be safer to plan for her to co sleep instead of winging it out of desperation. Any tips for the safest way to do so?
