Eca - you need to buy more

mammyjo · 22/08/2007 14:05

lol at boob saga!! Feels like a saga, its been going on for so long!

Thanks for the links CD. Think it was the tommee tippee ones I was thinking of. Bit cheaper than the others too!! They look like the best boobie shaped ones so hopefully would be successful.

Hi everyone
Well T screamed and screamed The kind where they go all sweaty and red
Anyway he's had calpol and milk and is asleep now. If it's like last two times he'll sleep for about 4 hours, wake up, have a scream for about 30 mins and then be fine. I hope so.
Hope everyone's OK. mammyjo, hope you get the thrush sorted out. weeonion good luck with the ff although I can't actually find your post about it, why are you starting ff? Hope it goes well and you find a bottle that suits you (and c!). We've found the avent ones good so far, but they're not particularly boob like!
Interviewing went OK but a very strssful day in all. If I go in again I won't plan to go home at lunch.
Hi Dippy, LuceWheel, eca and norma, and anyone I've missed off, brain is full of calpol.
Where is MIAM????????????

Katy44 · 22/08/2007 15:11

gmm - hello, I knew there was someone I'd ignored

mammyjo · 22/08/2007 15:14

Might get a couple of the tommee tippee ones to try then. Want to make it as easy a transition as possible. Will still be bf her when not in work so its only one day a week for now anyway.

Katy44 · 22/08/2007 15:15

Hi mammyjo, glad someone else is around

Pesha · 22/08/2007 15:20

Quick post just wanted to say CD - isnt P 16 weeks now? Or am i a week ahead with d?

mammyjo · 22/08/2007 15:24

Hi Katy, you ok?
Hi Pesha

mammyjo · 22/08/2007 15:25

Sorry Katy, have just read your post about your stressful day. Missed that first time around!

Katy44 · 22/08/2007 15:26

Fine thanks, you? How's the boob saga?
Just working up the energy to clean the kitchen and hang some more washing out.

Katy44 · 22/08/2007 15:26

That was yesterday. Today I didn't get out of the polar bear suit until 12

mammyjo · 22/08/2007 15:27

I think SOL was MIAM's buddy. Maybe she could send her a text just to make sure she is ok? Hope T is ok for you when he wakes up. Bless him, injections are so horrible.

mammyjo · 22/08/2007 15:28

No harm in that. I love pyjama days! Dh just doesnt get it. He is a morning person, out of bed as soon as he is awake. He doesnt know how to lie in - not that I get the chance nowadays!

Katy44 · 22/08/2007 15:30

Good idea about MIAM - hopefully she's just busy.
T has lost 2 oz since last time he was weighed (so presume he loat more and has put some back on) - must have been the sickness.

normabutty · 22/08/2007 15:33

I'm here too!!!

Katy, I'd put it down to the sickness too, try not to worry too much.

mammyjo · 22/08/2007 15:33

Probably, they can lose weight very quickly, but tend to gain it back fairly fast too (that is if ds was anything to go by).

mammyjo · 22/08/2007 15:34

Hi Norma

normabutty · 22/08/2007 15:36

Hi Mammyjo!

Katy44 · 22/08/2007 15:40

Hi, no I'm not really worried, he's healthy enough. I'll take him back in a couple of weeks to make sure he's OK, but it's to be expected when you're ill.
Unless you're me - where has this tummy come from, I think it's worse now than just after I'd given birth

Katy44 · 22/08/2007 15:41

But smaller than just BEFORE I'd given birth, thankfully

runnyhabbit · 22/08/2007 15:42

afternoon ladies

mammyjo - We use the Tommee Tippee ones too. And I've given him Hipp formula too. Its a damn sight cheaper than the other stuff! (I'd forgotten how expensive formula was!) And so pleased that you've got a result wth feeding

Took J for his first dentist appt today. He was so good. Dentist just had a look in his mouth, asked about brushing his teeth (which he loves doing) and gave J a sticker which he was most impressed with

Going to visit work tomorrow, because I really need to sort out my return to work dates. I'm hoping that my boss will let me use my holidays to have shorter working weeks. Instead of going back in Jan and work 5 mornings a week, I'd like to go back in Dec, and work 3 mornings a week. Can't see any reason why he'd object, but men are very funny creatures. I'm hoping to propose that I work from home a few mornings a week, but I think I'll leave that til I'm actually back at work iyswim. SOL - think I might be needing your HR expertise on that one

The weather is glorious here - so must put some more washing out......just need to get my bum off the chair.......

Katy44 · 22/08/2007 15:44

hi runnyhabit - I know how that feels, need to get out and sort out washing but MN is soooo addictive

weeonion · 22/08/2007 17:42

hi katy - we are trying a ff at night as i feel the day is fast approaching wher i throw in teh bf towel. back to blocked ducts and cracked nipples - again!!

octoandflash · 22/08/2007 17:43

Hello (((waves)))

Have decided to make a clean break when go on holiday on saturday and stop mn'ing. You have all been so great and supportive (and quite amusing) - don't know what would have done without you - but I need to spend less time on my computer and more time with the family. Nothing has upset me or anything - so not flouncing just is time to move on.

I have email addies for oooggs and wcl so will keep in touch and hopefully still meet up.

Good luck to everyone and hope your little bubbas grow up strong, happy and little angels
