Hi all, so just want to know your opinions on if you think it's too soon to be thinking about having another baby. Our DD is 10 months old and will be 1 in November, we want a large family and I don't want to start trying until April/May because I refuse to be heavily pregnant at the peak of summer..again😬

Do you think trying for a baby with a 17 month old is unreasonable etc?

There's 2 years and 7 months between my first and second born; it's a lovely age gap!

My son is 10months and I’m 6weeks pregnant. Start now and if you’re lucky you’ll miss the peak of the summer 😉

My daughter is 15 months old and I'm 7 months pregnant 🤷‍♂️

So you're looking at approx 2 years and 2 months age gap.
Personally I think that's a lovely space, and your older child will want to be involved with helping you with baby.

If you have a sleeper then go for it! We have a 2.5 year old and her not sleeping through STILL is 50% the reason she hasn't got a brother or sister Grin. The other 50% is I was so ill during pregnancy, it has really put me off.

On the flip side though, I LOVE the one on one time I get with her at this age, it's amazing and I couldn't imagine sharing myself around at this point. I think we will have a 4-5 year age gap which means she will be more self sufficient which suits me fine Grin

I really want a VBAC too and I know the tell you to wait a year before getting pregnant again but are you more likely to succeed the longer you wait? I'm 23 btw
