Breastfed baby and sleep

Hi all,

So my son will be a month old tomorrow and he's been great up until the last few days. I'm breastfeeding and expressing. Husband is giving him the bookie milk in the bottle and takes it no bother. Just when it comes to having a sleep in the day he doesn't seem to be sleeping very long, where as before he was doing 2 hours or a bit longer. Is this normal? Is he having a growth spurt? My milk is definitely in and I can express 4oz, I'm just feeling a little lost Confused. We do wind him and alsorts as well. I don't remember this with our daughter...

Thanks

Hi, if you still have the same issue with him, I just want to let you know that my 7 week old baby does the same. He is feeding really well but barely sleeps during the day 30 minutes at most. You can try putting him on his belly (supervised), mine usually falls asleep after 10 minutes but again just for half hour at most.
Hope this helps in any way Grin

Routines change, just work with his new one to ensure he gets his milk. I would suggest reducing the bottles if you don’t have supply issues as he might be waking up for comfort feeds rather than proper ones
