I think I am now friends with Margo, FGS, Oli and have requested Magnolia but she hasn't decided if she likes me or not yet!

Ok I may have the answer! Or at least a way to keep this trying to work stuff out off this thread.

I've created a group called December 2006 babies here

The group is invitation only so only members, who have to be approved by the creator (me) can see the discussion board. We can all post our MN names there without anyone who is not on this postnatal group finding them out.

Slight technical hitch though.....can't seem to make it the type of group that you have to ask to join rather than the type which needs an invitation. And if I have to invite everybody then I would need to know who they are which just defeats the object......if you know how to do that then I will love you forever. Will go start a thread in geeky stuff

Deffo good plan. I'm just nosy as to what you all look like. Feels strange to have 'real' names though, I always refer to you by your MN names when talking to DH. Am I odd to see nothing strange about having friends called Funky, Weird, Accessorize, etc? They sound normal til I say them out loud .

Oli, we cross-posted. So glad its not just me! I have been in to change the way my talkboards look so I can see the most recent messages first. I resisted the urge to return to the Mumsnet classic look. I am flexible, I can accept change.

Lucy, we're all good, I used to get all those comments with ds1 who was a monster baby and is now a very tall, skinny 3.10yo who wears age 5-6 clothes and gets funny looks when he behaves like a 3yo. I'm going to get him an I am 3 badge!
