App recommendations to pass the time while breastfeeding

I’m finding it difficult to stay awake during marathon night feeds and watching tv/reading only makes it worse, but I’ve found doing puzzles like sudoku on my phone help to pass the time.

Does anyone have any particular games/apps that they like to use when breastfeeding?

It might not be for you but We are combination feeding and I dont BF at night, due to the tiredness. Im Not up So long then. I express before bed, and then BF all Day.

Can you do one bottle feed? We use the Medela bottles and teats. Absolutely amazing!! No Nipple confusion as the teats are a special Design, they have to latch on like they do on you. Thats one thing you could do? At least for one feed to give you a quick feed?

This is a very sensible idea for a thread. I pass the time internet shopping... it’s def gotten worse since I started following the Christmas bargains thread on here 😂

DuoLingo - learn a language! You can disable the microphone and speaker part so you’re doing all written stuff in the night.

Otherwise 2048 and 2048 bricks and Two Dots if you want games :)

I played a LOT of FarmVille and Hustle castle. Both are free.

Candy crush - i might re download it for the nights she doesn't settle unless cuddled

Thank you! I normally rely on reading ridiculous forum threads, but people aren't posting enough for the many many hours I'm up for at the moment.. 😑

I've downloaded 3 of the suggestions already!

I just spend my pittance of stat mat pay on amazon!

Watching with interest - my 8 day old is cluster feeding overnight and I’m really struggling to stay awake.

Great thread idea.

There's a new app called the nightfeed which has chat forums and loads of new articles every day which I like to browse during feeds!

Might not be for you but my midwife taught me how to safety sleep whilst breastfeeding. You lie them on the bed next to you get in to the recovery position and put an arm above them to stop them wiggling up this is how I usually wake up at 5am after the night feed then pop her back in to her crib it's also helped her learn the difference between day and night and she feed far less at night now 😊

Little alchemy and little alchemy 2 were great

My kid only feeds for 5 mins (fast letdown) but I then need to hold him for about 20 mins so that he's sleepy enough to put down. I'm finding my old kindle paper white is a godsend - I actually look forward to being awake in the night as, with a 5yo and newborn it's my only time to do something for me

Farm heroes!

I started playing The Sims on my mobile when I was feeding. It was good because some of the tasks would take hours and seemed to work well with my feed timing! I do love decorating an imaginary house!
