Newborn dry/flaky skin on head

Hi all. My baby is 12 weeks and he has really flaky skin on his head. I'm pretty sure it's not cradle cap but any ideas how to get rid of it? TIA

I would just leave it or maybe pop some olive/veg oil on.

With my 1st I used a baby brush on it & he lost all his hair 😭

Olive or baby oil and very gentle circular run with a face cloth. Only know as I decided I’d just leave it to sort it’s self but very interfering HV made out I was neglecting my child by not dealing with it. It did clear it up though
