I'm not sure. But we bought giant bottles of water when we went to Portugal and used this. (Our villa had a water softener, so we had to buy water in bottles)

I wouldn't. I would boil bottled to be on the safe side. Unfortunately you'd need to boil tap water quite a bit to kill all the bacteria and it just isn't worth the risk. Spain obviously poses far less of a risk than say, India, but it's not a gamble I'd make.

I would boil bottled water personally, but I do that for myself too.

Spanish babies drink formula too you know. Yours will be fine.

Confused
Spain has better water quality than the UK, as someone who has tested tab and bottled water from several sources in the lab.
Where do people think Spain gets its water from? It has more rivers and reservoirs that the UK and the water is more than drinkable.
I am a bit Confused

I thought it was to do with whatever they put in their water, our bodies aren't used to it which is why it gives us bad tummies. Not that it's actually 'bad' or full of bad bacteria. Clearly the Spanish are used to the water but we aren't.

I went to Mallorca with a baby last year and I boiled bottle water.

We always used boiled tap water to make bottles in Spain, we own a property there so go very regularly.
