Hello. Well that just filled in a fair whack of my evening catching up! So octo might be preggers / nutty has gone off the rails / pesha is trying to pack for a holiday / maveta is out for the night - was there anything else that I missed!

I have just got all 5 kids to bed on my own - DP travelling back from London - had to catch the later train so to get 1st class tickets - think I am the mug here for saying it was ok!

Other than that not much happening in my exciting life... Dryer blew up and only 2 years old, had to wait a week to get a new one which was delivered yesterday smashed in on one side, so we have to wait another week, ho hum. With the weather been so 'summery' - not at all a PITA trying to get things dry - and real nappies had seemed such a great idea

Missed out 8 week injections too pesha - decided just to start at 12 weeks and so it the 4 weeks on from there.

Baby zazas continues to be pretty laid back, has to be as she is all over the place running after the other kids - she has been to the swimming pool 8 times this week to watch them swim Actually last Saturday night was a swim gala and it was the best fun I had out in months - have made note to self to get out more often

Well I have bored myself to sleep with that post - as no doubt you all. So off to pour that wine and sit back and enjoy that sound of silence of 5 sleeping kids

Okay, I'm searching for the message but not finding it and going crossed eyed scrolling up and down.. who said they had recipes for easy mix-n-go cakes/muffins? I would love any such recipes if you can email me? jennie dot douglas at gmail dot com

Bumble I loved Anzac biscuits when I was in Aus. I think I tried to make them once and they came out not dissimilar to brandy snaps Again, would love the recipe.

I make a yoghurt cake which is the easiest cake in the world to make - no weighing at all (yay!).

1 lemon yoghurt
1 yoghurt pot of veg oil (I know it sounds gross but just do it)
2 y.p of sugar (or less if you want)
3 y.p of plain flour
3 eggs
1.5 teaspoons baking powder

Tip yoghurt into bowl. Add oil and stir in. Add sugar and stir in. Add flour and egg alternately, bung in baking powder, pour into greased and floured bundt tin and bake at 180 for 40mins.

For the icing mix icing sugar with juice of a lemon to whatever consistency you like (the thicker the better!) and pour over. For added touch sprinkle flaked almonds all over.

YUM YUM! Off to try and make those muffins of lucewheel;s now..
