Bartholin cysts

Hi just looking for some advice please,
I had an elective c section 12 days ago and developed a nasty uti infection from an in dwelling catheter. I have just finished the antibiotics today and noticed this morning that my vagina feels really sore and swollen as if I have given birth vaginally ? Which I didn't.

So my main concern is upon trying to ease the pain with compress I have found a large lump/ swelling ? It really painful and explains why I am so uncomfortable I just don't know what it is from ?

So I went to my triage unit today and had a cyst (turned into and abscess drained and now I have 4 more appear I have been sent home with antibiotics? Beginning to panic what is wrong ?

What is it specifically that you are worried about? Bartholin's cysts are quite common but the antibiotics should help. I feel for you. They aren't exactly comfortable xx

Thanks for the reply, I think my concern is I now have 4 of them after having one drained. I was not expecting that 😬 is it common to have more than 1 at a time. I hope the antibiotics take hold and these don't need draining x
