funny feelings post birth

had emergency c-section in april and have a beautiful baby boy 10 weeks old. after section felt very flat, no appetite, spaced out, slightly dizzy, muzzy head. gp put me on anti depressants which seemed to work but 2 weeks on am feeling a bit odd, slightly spaced out.... hard to describe really. am wondering if i have vertigo. anyone else outthere experienced antthing like this??

Could you be anaemic? Nhs direct says common symptoms of anaemia include:
tiredness, lethargy, feeling faint, and breathlessness.

I only say this as I was anaemic after my c section. I'd press the doctor for a blood test to test this and any other defiancies.

I'd also ask to have your thyroid checked. I felt very odd after my c-section 12 months ago, low, no energy, spaced out etc and was diagnosed with post partum thyroiditus - its a very weird feeling which as you say, you can't quite describe. It may not be but probably worth checking to be on the safe side. Hope you feel better soon.
