Anyone else's baby have colic? I feel like it's a whole different level of stress and sleep deprivation and thought we could support eachother! Please share your stories 😊

Hi @2good , sorry to hear you’re dealing with a colicky newborn. What are his / her symptoms / habits & how are you coping? My 4 week old has reflux & vomits several times after each feed (she’s breastfed) - I’ve just bought infacol but keep forgetting to give it to her Blush. She’s gaining weight but it’s such a pain being puked in all the time. At night I have to keep her upright for ages & she often gets hiccups. When I put her down she usually either pukes a bit & carries on sleeping or wriggles around with trapped wind. It’s so sad to see her in pain / discomfort too Sad I’m hoping she’ll grow out of it soon... 🤞

Hi Smile
I am having terrible nights with my baby boy. He is almost 6 weeks old. He gets awful trapped gas and wakes up screaming and straining several times throughout the night. We switched from Avent bottles to Dr Brown's bottles, we have tried Infacol and Colief with no success. We persevered with each of these for a fortnight. We have tried him on gripe water over the past 2 days - the first time I gave it to him he vomited up his entire feed Sad so now I'm just giving him half the dose and seeing how that goes. It's so difficult to see them upset!
He also has some issues with reflux.
He is tongue tied, which hasn't caused him issues with bottle feeding but I wonder if it is in some way connected to him taking in more air than 'usual' when feeding.
Advice from both health visitor and GP is that he will grow out of the windy / colicy symptoms- it is a case of trying to comfort him and persevering!
Will follow this thread to see what advice is offered!
