I really want to go to post natal clubs,I'm just really anxious because I'm a young mum. I feel as though other parents will judge me,especially if my baby starts crying and may act as though I don't know what I'm doing. I'm just really nervous, but I need to get out,I'm getting way too bored and lonely being in the house on my own with a 10 week old Sad

My experience of post natal groups is completely the opposite of what you're worrying about!
If baby starts crying no one bats an eye lid, if anything people might offer to help or give you a sympathetic smile, but they all cry sometimes! Most groups I went to said at the beginning not to worry if baby does get upset, wants feeding/changing etc.

A massive range of ages at them all as well, wouldn't have crossed my mind to even look twice at a 'younger mum'!

Go, get out and have fun!! Congratulations on your new baby as well Smile

Ps do any of us know what we're doing?! Wink

I'm 37 and I just went to my first baby massage class with my 7 week old. My baby cried for the entire class and I didn't even get to do any of the massage with her 😅
But guess what? Everyone in the class was just as anxious and didn't even notice, the teacher congratulated us all on just getting there for the class, and speaking to other mothers made me feel better. So just go for it, and enjoy Smile
