Good evening all - have managed to catch up!

Ellie - sorry to hear having xdp problems again - hope you get it sorted out We have Angelina Ballerina living in our garage - eats anything fabric like cushiosn, car seats etc etc - cheeky little devil she is!

Poo - change afterwards if awake - if you think they may go to sleep after feed - change them then carry on so you know will go back to sleep!

Sleep?????????????????????

Have had enough of toys all over house so have dismantled playroom and moved it up to ds1 room - and I get my dining room back and dh has agreed can buy new dining room furniture - yippeee!! so much to choose from.... can't even decide what kind of wood I want! Walls are a creamy colour so if anyone has any top ideas - please do a link!

Zonked - must go to bed! xxxx

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 03/06/2007 21:21

Spontaneous Combustion - I like that.

I am just not keen on babygros - my girls have always worn PJ's / vest at night & outfits during the day.

Going to go & drop my new Lush Bath Bomb in the Bath . Hurrah!

"See" you later ladies ......

EllieK · 03/06/2007 21:21

my top idea octo, sod the dining room, turn it into a mummy room, tv, hot tub, whatever takes your fancy

mine is shortly to become a spare room, occupied by Skott

I love baby gowns too - have some cut4cloth ones and a merino wool one (lush) that was a pressie! I'm not a fan of vests as they don;t go over nappies - but love the cut4cloth ones and any kimono ones - have afew from Gap too.

In fact need to go rummage thru my 3-6 month clothes as his sleepsuits and vests are a bit tight now.

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 03/06/2007 21:23

Ooooh, octo - is the room big enough to get away with some really gorgeous dark wood stuff?? Would look lovely with creamy walls - good for you, reclaiming your dining room back - we're lucky enough to have a conservatory where all our girls' toys etc live......

LOL @ Angelina Ballerina!

octo · 03/06/2007 21:23

top idea Ellie - will run it past dh ....

he would like a boy room with flat screen dop down tv, armchair and mini fridge!

EllieK · 03/06/2007 21:24

think that's what mine may become

Agree with you Dippy, I've always used pjs/babygros at night and outfits during the day, helps them to distinguishe between daytime and night-time.

Sexonknackeredlegs · 03/06/2007 21:25

Ellie, you are a sweetheart. xx

Octo, good to see you. Know what you mean about the house turning into a giant playhouse. I guess you must also have had a new intake of stuff with the recent birthday like us!

octo · 03/06/2007 21:26

LOL ellie - you could have txt spk stencilled on the walls to make him feel at home!

CD - yes dark wood sounds lovely -maybe a bit chunky and morrocan ish.

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 03/06/2007 21:26

That's the one, Ange - all to do with routine forming ....

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 03/06/2007 21:27

Ooooh, sounds niiiiice octo .....LOL @ txt spk on the walls!

Keep meaning to ask, why is he Skott with a K - just wondered, tis all!?

Sexonknackeredlegs · 03/06/2007 21:28

Know what you mean about distinguishing between day and night with the clothing. Also with bathing. K now knows that once she has had her bath, she is in a sleepsuit and then fed. She actually shakes with excitement/anticipation when she gets out of the bath. If she doesn't get a bottle within 5 minutes, she goes off on one big time!

octo · 03/06/2007 21:29

SOKL - yes - the new influx was the driving force in some ways - am just fed up of people coming in and the first thing them seeing is a huge pile of crap/toys/junk etc which they have created - nightmare. Happy with them bringing toys down/toys round the house but I need some of my house back! We have a conservatory too but that is a mummy room!

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 03/06/2007 21:29

LOL - Bless her!!

EllieK · 03/06/2007 21:30

because my mother likes to be alternative

Ellen
Laura
Ben

then she decides she needs to go all 'hippy' and make the last child suffer

ernie is the same - about 6.30 he starts getting a bit agitated - once have change nappy, put in babygro and fed - thats it - if I don't put him in his cot he gets MAD! A few little squeaks and he's in the land of nod

EllieK · 03/06/2007 21:31
