Can't remember much from Georgia either

He's having 6ozs every 3 hours or so, but he's not taking it all at the moment. He seems to have a feed between 6.30-9pm then doesn;t have one til 3.30-5am then it's every 3 hours.

He's 7 weeks today, just thought i'd mention that as they a few weeks apart aren't they?

His poo is very runny, always has been!, and mustard yellow. The last few days it's been a bit greeny too. One of the reason i changed backed to the normal aptamil. Seems to be just yellow today

Ah lovely conversations we have eh?!

Ellie, its crap when your ex meets someone else huge>for you

Emmymummy · 01/06/2007 21:15

Hello SOKL! Talking to yourself is the first sign of madness you know

Can't give you any advice about feeds I'm afraid, all I can say is if S had the opportunity she would just suck all day long! She's such a little creature; if I lay her on my chest she sort of snuffles and edges her way down to my boob and latches on. Very cute. She's also getting very good at holding her head up, catching my eye and cooing at me. All very endearing indeed. ahhhhhh! Not having any more though!

Had a lovely day today; went to a farm with a friend and her dd, and then to her dd's birthday party at their house. Developed into a nice evening of sitting outside drinking wine and chatting, with the girls playing really nicely. Such a shame to have to come home, but was conscious I needed to get S to bed. Em could quite happily still be playing there now!

Watching Big Brother. What a load of old pants it is!

Sexonknackeredlegs · 01/06/2007 21:16

Thanks Eddas. Katie's poo is mustard yellow and pretty runny. I was shocked, as B's was quite solid, but she was on SMA Gold as a baby. I thought K had something wrong with her when I saw the mess! And it smells yoghurty I think - makes dh feel sick!!

Katie is 6 weeks, and she is having 6 ounce bottles also. She can go for up to 4 hours between bottles, but normally it is 3 hours. At night though she can go for hours. Last night she had a bottle at 10.00 and then didn't wake up for another until 6.30. The other night it was a bottle at 6.30 p.m. and awake for one at 4.30 a.m

Did you have any joy getting the lipstick off the sofa btw?? Have you googled it? x

oooggs · 01/06/2007 21:17

SOKL & Eddas - dt's are 9 weeks and have 6 oz of Aptimil First every 3-4 hours but don't always drink it all. It is longer at night.

Both produced mustard yellow poo - great!!

Last night Jack settled really well and Erin didn't and tonight it is the other way around, I need some peace. At least dh home at 10.30pm tonight and then on days next week.

DS1 is being difficult, as well as wetting himself he is refusing to do things like tidy up. But also adores the dt's.

Sexonknackeredlegs · 01/06/2007 21:20

Hi EM - you are going to have to change your nickname!

Yes, totally mad me! I have only had half a glass of red wine, and I feel pissed as a fart!

Your day sounded lovely.

I love it when the babes sart cooing. K is doing that too, and even though I didn't breastfeed her, if I have her over my shoulder she manages to slip down, and bash her head against me like a lamb bashing its' mother udders!!

Sexonknackeredlegs · 01/06/2007 21:22

Ooogs, I feel for you big time. I know people keep saying it, but I totally respect you and what you have to deal with.
Really glad you can get a bit of assistance with dh's change of shifts. xx

Eddas · 01/06/2007 21:24

Em, glad you had a good day. I must start doing things with G to keep her busy. Poor little thing gets a bit pushed aside with all the things to do plus H.

No joy with the lipstick yet, little bugger! Makeup is now stored high up in a cupboard. Please tell me why people think it's a good idea to give a 3 year old make up I now she loves creams, make up etc but come on she's 3!!

I have to say I think the main cause of G's frustrations and tantrums is boredom. She seems much better on the days when she goes to preschool. Roll on september when she gets her free place and can go 5 mornings!

And after this week i am dreading the long summer holiday already

Eddas · 01/06/2007 21:27

Mmmm wine, maybe a little vodka would go down well, hmmm.

Oh go on then, just a small one

Sexonknackeredlegs · 01/06/2007 21:29

Are your dh's watching the sodding footie as well?

Sexonknackeredlegs · 01/06/2007 21:33

Eddsa, just googled re the lipstick problem, and they suggest using ammonia, alcohol or hairspray. After using any of those, wash off with warm soapy water.

God, I need to get out more!

Emmymummy · 01/06/2007 21:34

SOKL - LOL at mother udders. They do feel like udders at the moment. Em insists on pointing out to everyone (even complete strangers) that S is having some booby milk. Bless her

Better get myself to bed. Never sure how much sleep I'm gonna manage to get, so better go whilst the going's good! Night all.

Eddas · 01/06/2007 21:40

Yep, mines wtching the footie.

I'm not gonna waste alchohol,LOL, not sure i have hairspray(never been one for hair!!!) and not sure where to find ammonia. Think it'll have to stay put til i go out tomorrow to buy something to get it off. Someone on the other thread suggested washing up liquid. I do have that so will give it a go in the morning, can't be arse now and it's not going anywhere,LOL

Night EM I love kids comments, bless em!

Sexonknackeredlegs · 01/06/2007 21:40

I am off to bed as well. Sleep well lovely ladies. xxx

Sexonknackeredlegs · 01/06/2007 21:41

Talking of kids comments, B told dh she didn't want to go to bed tonight. When he asked why, she told him it wasn't much fun!!!

Eddas · 01/06/2007 21:44

Night night SOKL, fair enough comment from B!!!

oooggs · 01/06/2007 21:45

Eddas with you on the boredom, James is much much better on nursery days

Eddas · 01/06/2007 21:51

Good to know they're all the same isn't it oooggs? So glad my friend introduced me to MN, such a reasuring place. With the odd argumentative thread thrown in for a giggle

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 01/06/2007 23:21

Late night pop in after Book Group!

Awwwww, I LOVE it when they start cooing - P is just about starting with the cutie noises - makes me go all dribbly and pathetic ....

On that note, I'll "see" you tomorrow, I am exhausted ....

elkiedee · 02/06/2007 00:10

I've just been researching child/working tax credits as I believe we're entitled to a few pounds a month at least. As, unlike child benefit, no one has reminded me about this, I thought I'd remind everyone else in the UK, particularly the first-timers (it doesn't seem to make as much difference having more children) to check they're claiming anything they're entitled to.

Off back to the govt website to find out if I can make a backdated claim to Danny's birth - it will be over a month by the earliest date I can make my claim now as I have to get a form first. I have started a thread on this and the responses so far are contradictory. If anyone else would find info of help, do let me know - don't know how to link but my thread is in Legal/Money matters.

EllieK · 02/06/2007 00:52

you've been at it with the talking again

off to bed now but just wanted to say

i love you ladies

got a text from pesha earlier and (once i'd deciphered the text speak ) she made me realise that whatever else is going on around me, you lot are always here for me and it feels really good to know that there is someone noticing if i go quiet, as everyone in RL just expects me to be coping as 'that's what Ellen does'

crying now, but in a good way

Katy44 · 02/06/2007 08:45

Ooh Ellie
At the risk of talking while you're not watching...sorry to hear about S. Do you think it might help you move on as well, or do you just want to poke my eyes out for saying that? (Feel free!)
Thanks for the poo talk everyone, shall we start mailing samples to each other? Like the book swappers club?
Well, better go and get my udders out.
