Gaviscon vs Carobel when breastfeeding

Hi all please help! Question about reflux in a four month old! I've been told today by paediatrician to give our daughter carobel before a feed rather than gaviscon afterwards, which is what we were doing previously. The quantities of carobel required are huge though, how on earth will she still want a feed from me after all of that!?

Any advice or experience really welcome please!!

She has been on ranitidine but today got a prescription for omeprazol.
