Hiya Thought i'd start a new thread.

Darcie was 2 and we have a great day was very hectic but she enjoyed herself and will stillbe getting more presents today x

Hey Ladies

Hope you all had a fantastic xmas!

We had a great time, Darcie thankfully didn't get a drum kit but did however get a keyboard with microphone, and a ukelele from my dad!! - he wants to play with them more than darcie tho.

I was very spoilt at xmas by Lee which was lovely, we've had a fab xmas together and are looking forward to 2008 together.

Happy New Year everyone, lets hope 2008 brings us all a better year!!

well he didn't go out after all.

i did met some of mr brother's mates , one very nice looking bloke and i broke my thumb about 1am. only i thought i had sprained it, i wasn't drunk just "merry" but it didn't half hurt

FM - you broke your thumb how the hell did you do that?? if you were drunk you wouldn't of felt the pain LOL.

i was "merry"

me and dbro were kind of side shoving each other like we normally do, except i bumped him back a bit harder than normal and he bumped me back harder and thats when my thumb got in the way. it did kind of hurt at the time, but i just assumed i had sprained it. it was only when xp(git) insisted on taking me to a+e that i found out, well, the day after that. the original doc said i had a torn ligament and gave me a splint glove that was a bit loose. a dr phoned back the next day, just as i was due to go out and told me well, actually we think you may have a fracture am now in plaster to 4" past my wrist. bright pink bandagey type stuff (thanks fran )

this bloke is a chap who plays football for the selby griffin where my brother is a member of the squad. (he never gets a game and is fed up of going but anyway). hte griffin is my brother's local and he has lived up there since omg for a year.he is tall dark haired and dark eyes and has yorkshire accent (well obv) and when he was subbed at the last match i went to watch, we exchanged pleasantries (nothing more tmm). bumped into him on new years eve in the londesborough in selby town and told mr bro after that i was kind of in danger of developing a crush on said bloke. anyone with half a brain would then have text him straight away but no. he still hasn't text him for me. and now bro is thinking of moving down here (all well and good but oh well). all i thought at the time was "if you had been on mn you would know that that was code for get on the bloody phone straight away" he is not the quickest on the uptkae bless him

Back to work on Monday although seem to have picked the busiest week home wise to start back.

FM, breaking your thumb - that sounds nasty/painful

AM - Sounds like you have a busy life at the moment.

TTM - No wedding bells, lets get the house out of the way first LOL, then we will see.
Just make sure when we do get married you can all come to pompey

Meet up we need to think when, where and what time.

Darcie started Pre-school monday and loves it, she has a hot lunch there to which is good as means i don't have to cook for her later . am a very proud mummy as shes settled really well.

FM, sorry you are having such a sh*t time with XP. I cant really offer any advice but really do hope that you are able to find a solution that is right for F.

TMM, hope the house viewings go well/have gone well. I love looking at houses.

Perhaps once i have moved you could all come to me.... Should be moving next month Nice garden for the monkies to run around in.

well we managed to talk without killing each other and he mentioned his aunty looking after dd on the 14th feb. i was a wee bit naughty cos i knew what he was trying to ever so subtly hint at. (one of my friends has signed my cast with love u mrs x" and when he picked up dd today he saw it he was either (a) trying to find out if i am seeing someone which leads to an and/or situation with (b) he was trying to get me to go out with him on vals day. er, no i won't don't think so. blokes too much hassle which kind of answered both situations for him i think d'oh.

Yes we are moving no date as yet but not in any major rush. Its only up the road (about 200yrds)

Went back to work on Monday and am totally knackered

AM - The move sounds exciting, we keep on thinking about moving but havent done any thing about it. How is work going?? I have been thinking about you this week and meant to text you on Monday, but never got round to itSorry.

FM - XP sounds a .....!!

TTM - how are you, I was down your neck of the woods today, we went to Gunwharf with the boys. We ate at the water margin and went up the Tower.

I was in asda tonight and an announcement came over the tannoy that they had just recieved delivery of 3 nintendo ds's, I gracefully walked, (or more like ran like the clappers!!) and am now the PROUD owner of a pink one!!

am hows work so far? i rememeber when i first went back, the first week was a bit surreal

xp now has new gf (sorry not gf!) they are just seeing each other tho seeing as he went to see her before she went to work i would say she is a gf! he is trying to make me jealous bless him but it's not really working that well he wouldn't even tell me her name tho wanted to know the ins and outs of a gnat's ass when i went on that date!!! (apologoes for tutrn of phrase )

And i need to ask, can you get me a good deal for a 3 night trip to Rome from 12th - 15th Feb please?? Pref early flight out there from Gatwick, and latish flight on way back into Gatwick? Cheeky of me to ask i know. We want to be in the centre of the city close to the trevi fountain if poss!!!

FM - you make me laugh about xp - bless him for trying to make you jealous tho. How is Fran??

TTM- a pink DS aye, my sister has one she carries it everywhere shes only 22
I quite like The Water Margin although not eaten in there for a while.

We are good here, still looking for a house but in no big rush to do so. Darcie is growing well, but using an inhaler now tho!!
I got a new job working for endsleigh insurance in portsmouth start 28th Jan so excited about that.

if you go to www.sunshine.co.uk and have a peek on there then when booking type 'cheap holidays' in the user name on the left hand side it brings it down to net rates feel free to use as often as you like and pass to as many people

hi all

fran was sick yesterday, luckily he was due to pick her up so he was able to help with the sick part i can cope with baby sick but anything over a year old that smells is not good for me lol i end up gagging too she is better today tho, so hopefully she over it and it was just a 24 hr thing.

tmm - good luck on new job hows darcie getting on?

everyone else ok? i ams till on library pc, thinking about the aol offer but its a 24mth contract and from £20 per month so not sure about it, will have to think more, it is very tempting tho esp with the promise of mn at night time lol

Hello all

Sorry not been on, been in Cheltenham with work, has been an intense week lol.
Just home for the day then go back up for week tomorrow.
Had a nightmare trip home yesterday, not looking forward to that again on friday lol.

Am the big 25 on friday so send Lee shopping today lol.

Also we have just brought a house, its totally gorgeous you'll have to come see once we've moved and got it straight lol.
Although doesn't need decorating, and they are leaving all blinds inc conservatory ones, all flooring, all light fixtures, bedroom furniture, kitchen appliances and the hot tub . so just needs our furniture in there now

So an exciting year for me and darcie, frsh new start, me with better new job, and lovely boyfriend and a gorgeous house together. so good start to the year for us.
