Cool what time TMM?

TheMuppetMuggle · 07/12/2007 16:50

can we say 1pm? is that okay with everyone? xx

fransmom · 07/12/2007 17:23

am better than i was earlier - i basically haven't been paid for last week; their excuse was that because i had used all my years holidays, i had to repay them! (basically a sound idea but i had no warning that they were going to do that). will now have to go cap in hand to the dss for crisis loan if i can't transfer some money from old account to the one i'm using. dd's dad, the xp, has offered to (either lend or give [i can't remember which]) £100 to see me straight. the thing is i will be ok once benefits start and even better when tax credits get backdated - to aug!

oh well, it's all bloody money isn't it?

how is evryone else now i had my gripe?

fran used the potty today (proud mom and daughter ) she didn't want either nappy pull up or pants on this morning - luckily the heater had been on so it was warm enough and i just left her in her pj top. one accident, which she told me about bless her. about an hour later i said why don't you sit on the potty while i get ready? she comes in saying mommy i did a wee (meanwhile i'm thinking that she'd never have stayed on it and that she had another accident). no, the wee was in the potty, houston!!!! she was so proud of herself and she kept saying we did it mommy we did it!

i think it's about time i start thinking properly about getting a xmas name. erm, what about FransawMomkissingsanta? though i think that someone else may have a very similar name.........

TheMuppetMuggle · 07/12/2007 21:11

cool chick!!

well darcie did her first poo in the potty today sorry for the TMI! she just went and sat down on it - she doesn't like having her pull ups on either so am so proud!!!

I should get an xmas name an i will change in a moment

AChristmasMeadow · 08/12/2007 08:12

1pm sounds great TMM.

Well done to Darcie on the poo. Its a big achievement Jack still gets us to come look at his wee.

FM, what a bugger about your money situ. Any other time of the year it might not seem so bad but jsut before Xmas - some bosses just dont think

TTM, are you still coming on Sunday?

fransmom · 08/12/2007 14:14

just a quick chat today. how is everyone? we are ok here, now it's stopped raining anyway!!! it was absolutely hammering down this morning, we had to wait til about 12ish for it to slow down and even then fran was underneath her raincover. i had to use a kids umbrella umberella brolly that had bright pink edging! (at least it wasn't as mortifying as using her winnie he pooh one (i can't believe i just used one of them!!!!!)

well, ladies, hope you have a lovely day tomorrow i shall be there in the spirit (the one to the left of the brandy bottle )#

bye for now xxxxx

AChristmasMeadow · 08/12/2007 19:43

Hi there, I think i will have to cancel tomorrow. The weather looks shocking and tbh i dont fancy driving for an hour in the wind and rain. Also, Jack has quite a hacking cough and has been sick 2 nights out of the last 3.

Sorry, sorry, sorry

toytownmum · 08/12/2007 22:55

AM - That is fine by me, for much the same reasons. It would have been lovely to see you pre-christmas but it looks horrible tomorrow and I also don't really want to take the boys out as they still have the cold lingering.
I will text you and TMM in the morning, just to make sure no-one is setting off on a wasted journey.
Maybe we could arrange to meet in the new year.
Hope DS1 is better soon, poor little thing.

TTM x x

fransmom · 10/12/2007 12:01

fransmom · 10/12/2007 12:07

erm , can you refresh my memory please?

AChristmasMeadow · 10/12/2007 12:16

Hiya,

Jack is still quite chesty and snotty but seems better - he's able to be naughty! Thankfully no more puke. Have just taken him to the dentist for the first time and he was so good. Then went to have his hair cut in preparation for his performance as a snowflake on Thursday

TMMM, sorry to see that you are feeling under the weather

hi acm!!! he does sound better doesn't he? lol. hope thursday goes well for you jack xxx

TheMuppetMistletoeMuggle · 10/12/2007 13:29

FM - mark was round i got a couple of texts saying he was irritating the hell out of you lol - what happened??

ACM - glad to see jacks feeling better.

i'm okay, just aslong as it holds of tillmonday ;)

fransmom · 12/12/2007 14:42

ah now i remember!

i can remember sendig the texts but not what i meant by them now but he still irritating me nothing new there! was trying to phone him in connection with fran last night and he never answered so i thought fine, he obv busy. not so. mentioned to him today when he picked fran up this morning (she staying there overnight today) and you know what he said? i just didn't answer he knows what time she goes to bed and how is he supposed to know if she wants to talk to him if he doesn't pick up the phone lol oh well, sometimes i can't wait until she's older and she can see what kind of man he is.

i also heard from that guy who i had a date with a while back. am not sure what to make of it tbh with you. i had been wanting to text or phone for a while and just left it. i thought well, he get in touch if he wanted to kind of thing. so anyway, some time the end of last week, i sent him a text mesg saying "hi , happy christmas to you and ds1 and ds2, hope things are working better for you all now." and left it at that basically, burying any hatchets that might have developed. i nice like that see?

i gets a reply either yesterday or the day before apparently he had to go abroad quite suddenly, for a month, to sort out some family problem(s) and hadn't got back til saturday night. (good job fransdad doesn't know his name as he had to fly through the airport he works at!) anyway. basically he has said that after christmas he would like to take me out again but that he would understand if i didn't want to. i thought it might be interesting to see what his reasons were so to speak, i don't know what to do. do i just go with the flow and then see what happens? after all i said?because i think if i don't, then i might kick myself at some point. do you see my dilemma???? so, now, i am invoking the might of the mn jury (at least on the april 05 board) to help me with my decision it's over to you ladies

frantaclaus · 16/12/2007 13:40

helloooooo?

toytownmum · 16/12/2007 14:51

FM - love the new name. I would agree to meet for a drink, what have you got to lose.

frantaclaus · 17/12/2007 10:54

i had agreed to meet him for adrink on sunday, he had popped round on thursday(?) for a cup of tea and we kind of took a long time saying goodbye and that was the last time i saw him. spoke on friday, went to the football on saturday with my brother.
well, i had a phone call from him at 3 saying that he had to take his mom to taunton and that hey, he'd bumped into his ex gf on saturday when he was out and he now had mixed feelings about seeing her again. he tole me how much his kids had loved her and how nasty his xw had been and that he couldn't put me thru that, i was thinking that's my decision not yours. so i said that i never stood a chance, he said don't say it like that. well how the hell else am i supposed to say it? i said can i ask you a question. and asked him straight that if he had the chance to go out with her would he and he said yes he would but (kind of thing). so now my heart feels like it's getting hurt cos i was starting to fall for him. and he was saying (while i felt like crap) that he had liked me for a long time. and he said that he didn't know what to do cos not being big headed or anything that he'd never been in the situation that he had two women falling at his feet and i said i not falling at your feet (insulted emoticon) i do like you a lot .

so it's like thta. we were going to still go out for a drink to chat but well, basically i got stood up, he never even had the decency to tell me not to bother about the babysitter, never contacted me to say if he was home from taunton or not. i cried for ages. and now i feel like crying again but i can't cos i in thelibrary

now i have to get over himn again and i have a christmas card waiting for him at home - a picture of a teddy bear holding a bunch of mistletoe and i had said inside love from (me). bugger bugger bugger

frantaclaus · 17/12/2007 11:04

TheMuppetMistletoeMuggle · 17/12/2007 16:00

Hey Ladies

FM - I can't believe what a prat he is!!
and don't cry over anyman they are SO not worth it!!!
And i'm in Portsmouth not Plymouth LOL

My Weekend in London with Lee was totally fantastic we didn't want it to end so early

Lion King at the Lycum theatre was fabulous would recommend to anyone and we can't wait to take darcie at some point when shes a tad older. We went to london dungeons that was good to, although got tad claustrophobic in the beginning, but once out of there was fab. we have a few pics which i'll add to my profile and facebook
We are soo looking forward to xmas now, i've brought Lee a fish tank and a voucher for 2 crabs from the aquaria in drayton, he's fascinated by the one in mums fishtank, so i'll get him some of his own and we can always transfer them to a bigger fishtank once he's brought his/our house next yr.

anyway will post again in a few days

Hope everyone else is well
xx
