Hiya Thought i'd start a new thread.

Darcie was 2 and we have a great day was very hectic but she enjoyed herself and will stillbe getting more presents today x

Thanks ladies Its quite scary seeing Jack and Ella together. He looks so big!! We thought he was quite diddy until the arrival of tinee tiny Ella.

FM - am so pleased that you are being bale to move on. And CONGRATS to Fran on the potty. Thats brilliant.

Its my birthday tomorrow I will be 26. Quite looking forward to it.

Re the meet up...... now i have babe in arms perhaps we should put an actual date in the diary..... what do you think? Will be really lovely to put faces to names etc Gun Wharf Quays sounds cool but any there are any other suggestions that might be nice.

TTM - hope you have a lovely weekend celebrating ds2's birthday. Jacks is on the 24th and i cant believe how quickly that has come around.

omg am starting to realise that fran will be two in less than two weeks
i know she is but well....... a friend in rl brought her dc round a couple of weeks ago and they are crawling very well and pulling themselves up well too. cue lots of running round when we realised we had started de-baby proofing our home!!!!!!! it was a slight shock when we realised what we had forgotten

Hi guys - just a quick post with some sad news, I'm afraid. Went for the 12 week scan on Friday (DD's 2nd birthday, ironically) and they couldn't find a heartbeat. I saw it on screen before they told me, so I knew. The baby died at eight weeks.

I'm booked in for a d&c (space permitting) tomorrow. Might be later in the week, just depends when they can fit me in (typical NHS).

Anyway - still seems surreal...

TTM - you were very lucky with the weather. Its not very often that i get nice weather for my birthday. Normally cold and wet!

Cant believe that this time last week i was holding a 4hour old baby! And this time next week Jack will be 2!!

how is everyone? as of now i am on holiday - tho technically the next and last three days are normal days off.

my lovely (take your pic) sister has invited herself down on next satday to see her neice. (don't get me started, it's all simmering away.........) well, i did ask if she was coming down but she hasn't as yet deigned to let me know, she told my brother knowing he would tell me .

any birthdays?

Jack loves Ella to bits and keeps giving her kisses and 'big cubbles'. He is getting better at being gentle rather than squashing her with his body weight!

Ella is gaining weight well and should be back to birth weight tomorrow. She is feeding well and sleeping well. She normally wakes up at 3am for a feed and then goes back to sleep.

Jack is 2 on Tuesday and we are taking him to Legoland Windsor for the day. Cant beleive where those 24mths have gone!

Sounds like you could have an interesting weekend then FM..?

am it could well be - i think i might have to throw people out!

my grandf phoned to check the day/date of fran's birthday and let it slip he'd been ill when i asked how he'd been. i said ooh, how come? thinking he'd had a really bad cold cos they don't half knock him about (he's 86). except he told me that he'd blacked out he said he was alright but didn't give me any details.

so then i phoned my aunty who was upset and i said then why hasn't anyone phoned us to let us know? (sorry, it aLL HAPPENED TWO WEEKS AGO) {blooming caps lock!) then she kept saying how her mom has been ill, her dd2 is getting married and with gd being ill and working 10hr shifts she has a lot on her plate. his dd2 (down's) has had to have an angina spray and gd can no longer look after her on his own because it's too stressful for him. like, how long has this been going on?????? fair enough but it wouldve took just two minutes to let us know and then tell us everything was ok. then i phone my sis and bro and let them know what's happened and they don't know either. sis phones aunty and then txt me to say a got upset and put the phone down! i then get upset and tell dp on the phone who then responds by defeding me but i ge upset because i feel stuck in the middle!!!! and then hang up on him!!!!!!!!

not long after i calmed down (which took a long time) dd is crying because she don't want to go to bed, she wants to play. then i get my cousin lecturing me about ,my sister upsetting her mom! meanwhile my toddler is crying and my cousin still having a go. wtf? if i was calling her then i would've said i'll go if her dc's started crying. so after i calmed down - again - i text her saying i also have alot to cope with - i have a bad pnd and have had some bloody horrid days lately and don't need another family feud to cope with. she replied with what sounded like an apology and lots of kisses so that's sorted out. all i need to do is think of what to say to my big mouth of an insensitive sister who doesn't realise you won't get an awful lot of info out of people you upset!

phew. sorry about the long post.

OMG FM sounds like alot to cope with, hope your okay.

AM- glad to hear Ellas growing.

We are good. took Darcie to the Drs about her left foot that turns inwards, shes been referred to Southampton General Childrens Unit to see the Paediatric Physiotherapist and Surgeon to see what they can do. i think will be for the first 6mths trying physio and if no better will have surgery ( which petrifys the hell out of me). but i'll deal with it when that comes.

So Meet up when were we thinking??

Thanks ladies. We had a pretty good day - when he was behaving himself. We took him to BirdWorld and he loved looking at all the parrots, peacocks, owls etc. They also have an aquarium and we spent ages looking at Nemo and his 'dad'. He had soooooo many presents, its going to take me days to write the thank you notes. I have popped a few more pics onto my profile of the kids.

Hey DM - sorry to hear that you failed but i guess all is not lost if you can re-sit it.

Are there any particular dates in June that people cant make for the meet up? And are weekends best for most ladies?

DM sorry to hear about the exam

I can make most days in June, weekends or weekdays, but I can't make the weekend of 16th/17th - 16th is DH birthday and on the 17th we are going to Paultons Park to see Bob the Builder.
