Baby hates sling

My 6wo hates his sling. We have the Caboo lite and I can't ever get him to settle in it. We always start when he is calm and/or asleep on my chest but once I get him in he screams and continues to do so. I'm not totally confident I have him secured in it properly either, when I take a deep breath it feels tight but his weight falls forward and down rather than being tight to me. I never get anything done, I need this to work! Any tips?

Different babies like different slings. My nephew liked a baby Bjorn when he was very little and now he's fine in a connecta. I would recommend a sling library and try something new.

Would also recommend a sling library, if anything they can check you're putting him in properly?
My ds loves being in his caboo, and once he outgrows it I'll deffos be going back to sling library to try out others
