Another one here who missed the move to fb. So nice to see lots of names I recognise.
My little boy wasn't born until January in the end so he isn't 4 months until later this week. He doesn't sleep too bad in the night but getting him to nap in the day is such hard work.

Weekend's been ok here, DD has been awesome and DS has been good too, but as school draws near again my anxiety gets worse, as always.

Just eaten takeaway pizza I could only manage a few slices! The glass of is going down well though.

Thanks for asking how I am. Sadly the honest answer is not great. My Dad died yesterday and he died in pretty horrible circumstances so I'm struggling to comes to terms with it.

Yes upyourdaisy I get all confused on here and don't know who anyone is!! Isla is attempting to roll to but can only get from her back to her side. She mainly tries during happy change 🙈

Have you all gone through the 4 month sleep regression/4th leap? And did you come out ok on the other side or has it never gone back? DS used to sleep 7 hours straight on a regular basis but since 23rd April that's stopped and last night we were down to 2 hours sleep at a time. According to the Wonder Weeks app we have another 12 days of this before he should return to normal. Just wondering if it will be a new normal, or can I look forward to a 6 hour stretch in 2 weeks time?!

Hey Bella1985 I am still going through this with my little man some night he doesnt wake other night it can be evrry hour or two. He was always a good sleeper and slept through from 8 weeks. He is still in our room but in his cot bed I just try and shh him back over and he has a dummy so try and settle him with that to some times it work but some times it doesn't. I got good advice of my sister in law she say nothing last forever and this is what I try and live by and happy baby, happy mummy. I am a firat time mum and at the start i listen to everybodys advice when they say dont do this dont do that but now i just go with the flow and do what every makes him happy cos one day he wont need me as much and i want no regrets cos when i look back i wish i held him more when he was a new born. Sorry I can't be more help but I am glad to know I am not the only one who is going through it. X

tinajayne I agree with you - I go with the flow too - he's currently napping in my arms! I love it, its a pain when I think I could have hoovered or washed the dishes but I'm not going to look back fondly on the maternity leave housework days am I?! During the tough hours at night though, you start questioning your choices and I start worrying that maybe I should start to be more strict around now. Then by lunchtime DS is smiling beautifully at me and I think, nah, he's just a baby still!!

daisy lovely photo of R in her jumperoo, I think my lo would love one of those but he isn't allowed to go in one because of his foot. It's great that she is trying to roll. Ds rolled twice from front to back at just under 3 weeks ( I think his cast helped him get momentum) but he has never done it since he has a good try but is like I'm upturned tortoise.
bella we have 4days until the end of this leap. We have had 2 night where he woke up a lot more and the rest he has been up once more than usual so that hasn't been so bad. In the day it's another story. Today is the first time he has napped for more than 20-30min in about 2 weeks and getting him down takes forever. He gets so over tired and cranky it's horrible
