Has anyone bought one when their baby was a few weeks old and noticed the difference in their child's sleep patterns? My baby is nine weeks old and not sleeping well. I was wondering if it's worth buying one and if so which one? Thanks Smile

Just download the app Sound Sleeper on your phone! We've been using it for 15 months.

Yes sound sleeper! Saved my sanity from around 8 weeks old and I still use it now at 9 months old

I used the sleepy sounds app and my lg loved the heavy rain noise. It helped her sleep and also drowned out house noise (stroppy teenage boy for a big brother). Still use it every night and she's 2. She can sleep without it but I find it does no harm. Life saver for us, even used it at nap times when she was little Wink

There's also a website called Rainy Mood which just plays endless rain.

Second the Sleepy Sounds app! My Ds is 17mo and we've used since he went into his own room - just kept an old ipod plugged in near his cot, it's brilliant and even kept him asleep during all these infernal fireworks!

I loved White Noise Baby app, lots of different options (our favourite was conch shell) and it plays even when you close the app so you can still MN use your phone. When my dc started going down for naps and had a proper bedtime I just downloaded some free white noise, put it on loop on the iPod and have that in their rooms instead so I get my phone back. Seemed to calm both of mine, and as pp said it helped to block out the background noises in the house, which was a lifesaver when ds was born 12 months after dd!

I used to use an app but then upgraded to a Myhummy which is a white noise toy and it's been one of the best baby buys so far!

Thanks for all your comments. I've tried the apps that have been mentioned and they've all worked really well so far.

Thanks everyone Grin

Enjoy! I remember when a mum friend told me about the sound Sleeper app. I swear there was a beam of light, the clouds parted and there was hot tea for all the Mums of the world Star

I've got Ewan the Sheep - it's great for giving LO something to stare at and zone out to and the white noise blocks out noises that tend to startle or wake her.
