Do I wait or tell dh now

Hi, hardly the biggest dilemma but our 3 month old rolled over for the first time yesterday (never thought I'd be so ridiculously proud!) I have it on video and was going to send to dh at work but now I'm wondering whether to not bother and just try to encourage ds to do it in front of dh later on and make out its the first time-is that weird?

Dh is forever saying how much he hates going to work and is upset that he's missing out on so much so I just feel sad for him that he's missed it. I thought maybe a white lie might make him feel a bit happier.

So am I being weird or is it a nice thing to do?

Someone once said to me, the first time your DC does "insert activity" in front of you is still the first time for,you. So even if DC has rolled over in front of you, wait until DC rolls over in front of Daddy, when DC does daddy will be thrilled and remember it as the first time he saw DC do it. You can then say, yes I felt like that too when I saw DC do it earlier or oh lovely I've not seen DC do that yet.

Best advice I was ever given and made all the milestones special.

I never thought of it like that, just thought he was missing out. I sent him a video at lunch time and hopefully he will do it again fir him this evening.

I've been sending my DH a quick pic of DS every day when he's at work to make him feel part of everything. I think it helps.
