Just curious as to what other lo's bedtimes are? I take ds up with me at about 10 ish and feed him then he gets him self to sleep in his cot and sleeps til 7 ish I have just been thinking though about putting him up by himself a bit earlier so me and dh can have a bit of evening together what does everyone else do?

youngmum21 · 17/01/2007 18:05

Am going tostart putting her to be at 8 though sand then prob feeding her when i got to bed at 10!!

Emzickle · 17/01/2007 19:57

Hello, how's everyone today?

I've stopped bleeding at last, went to the doctor, she's put me on the pill

Has everyone's LO's had their jabs? Lola hasn't had any, i'm such a total flake of a mother. Havent even registered her at the doctors as lost her pink form DH recycled it.... and now they wont just let me fil in a form to register her, pathetic old moose behind the counter.
grrr

BENDYB · 17/01/2007 20:54

nicand2, kai goes 2 sleep upstairs between 8 & 9 & wakes up between 6 & 7, we never go 2 bed till bout 12 so we have a few hours 2getha on our own, & dp gets up 4 work at 6 so i wake up then 2 then kai always wakes up around that time so works out good!

sorry 2 hear ur still feelin bit down emzickle, xxx

Gingeme · 17/01/2007 21:07

Sorry to hear that Emzickle. Still you dont have to take it you know.
Yes Edward had his second lot of jabs today. Screamed the place down again. Got his 3rd lot in Febuary.
You lucky lucky ladies with lo's that sleep through. Edward and David have their bath at 7.30. Read David a story. Give Edward his bottle hes then in bed roughly about 8-8.30. He then wakes at 2 for another bottle which he sods about with till about 3-3.30 then wakes again at 5 for some unknown reason then sleeps till 7 which is usualy when David wakes up. I would kill for an all nighter this sleep deprivation is doing me in! Mind you was looking at Davids red book today and he didnt sleep through till he was about 6 months and he was still in with us because my other 2 ds's lived with us then and both had to go to school so needed their sleep. I just hope Edward doesnt follow in his footsteps. Oh speaking of which Rumpel my ds2 started school today and he was laughing because his teacher introduced him as'the wee boy from London'. Think it tickled him. He had a great day though and made loads of friends.

Tigerlion · 17/01/2007 21:21

Loved seeing all your montages. I got really weepy looking at all those beutiful newborns.

I have started a meet up thread for next Wednesday's meet up. Hope you can all find it as I don't know if i have the expertise to work out how to do the link!

Tigerlion · 17/01/2007 21:22

That is beautiful. Can't blame it on pregnancy brain no more!

Gingeme · 17/01/2007 21:22

Just watched your montage youngmum21. Well done she is so lovely. Like the shot of your cat asleep with her. My cat doesnt take any notice of Edward. I think because David pulls him aboout and chases him about so much he probably knows hes in for more when this ones on the move. Well Im off to bed now. Whos coming to the meet up next week? Is 11oclock ok? NO body answered me NIght night then x

Gingeme · 17/01/2007 21:26

taffy101 · 17/01/2007 22:11

lovely montages bendy + youngmum. your babies are cutiepies.
I have tried again hope it works this time or am complete technofailure fingers crossed

(no pics of dh - he's always the one behind the camera)

pmoore · 18/01/2007 09:08

It works taffy. So cute. I am so broody!! I must wait, I must wait! LOL.

Well I took LO to be weighed yesterday I feel like a bad mum as she is, 16lb 10oz on the 98th Centile. The HV just gave me raised eye brows and said 'she'll lose it' I'm not a bad mum am I? But, what am I suppose to do?

Off to bluewater this morning as its my mum and nans birthday tomorrow, DP sister's on Monday and my Dad's Tuesday all these considerate people so close after Christmas!

Have a good day all.

Swizzler · 18/01/2007 09:17

Pmoore: My LO is on the 91st centile and the HV was pleased he was gaining weight well and steadily. The shape of the curve is more important than the actual weight, if that makes sense. So tell your HV to sod off

Off to buy a cot today as W is wedged into the cib and keeps waking himself up! Every 2 hrs at the moment, so if anyone else's LO is sleeping through i don't want to hear about it

catgirl · 18/01/2007 09:51

Gingeme - I'll be there at 11 am (or thereabouts) - cafe in V&A right? Sorry, meant to reply, but ds2 didn't sleep at all yesterday morning!

pmore - you should have seen my ds1 before he started crawling - he was big and round, but as soon as they started moving more it shifts - not a bad mum at all - a good mum for feeding your lo up.

Swizzler -you might find your ds sleeps better in a cot, as he will have more room - fingers crossed

Everyone else -hope you are all staying dry today - think I will stay in, apart from school pick up.

Looking forward to seeing some of you again next week, and meeting others.

catgirl · 18/01/2007 09:52

double doh re meet up - will to and find thread now!

also - love all the photos - so cute, but I am not broody, which is good!

youngmum21 · 18/01/2007 09:57

HELP!!!

Y WONT DD SLEEP THRU ANYMORE???????

she ue to sleep 9-6.30 and has all of a sudden stopped any ideas as to y the sudden changfe cud be??????????

catgirl · 18/01/2007 10:50

youngmum - the thing they don't tell you with babies is that they change all the time! the bad and good seems to be 'just a phase' - which doesn't help much. BUT you do know she can sleep through so probably will again soon. Not much consolation, but ds2 has slept from 10/10:30 pm through to around 8 am for the last 2 weeks, but last night woke up at midnight, for no real reason that I could figure out - didn't want a bottle, didn't need changing- you are not alone

Rumpel · 18/01/2007 10:56

HI All,

Youngmum - my LO I usually put to bed at 7-7.30 for a couple of hours, then get her up at 9-10pm for a ff. Then we both got to bed at 10-1100 and I bf her and she falls asleep. She was sleeping form then until 7-8, however, her routine has gone a bit wary last couple of weeks 'coz we have been visiting, had visitors etc and now she has started awaking at 3am!, then 5 then shuffuffling about. I usually give her booby in the monring and put her back down for a wee while to try to get some extra sleep/rest.

All - do you think it is a normal part of development then, as we all seem to be having Lo's who are awakening during the night now when they slept through before? Maybe they are getting ready for solids?

A seems to be teething as her cheeks are very rosy and she is constantly chewing her hands.

Ginge - glad to hear your boys are doing well. There are still some anti-English folk up here, however, the vast majority of us are lovely friendly people who make everyone welcome. Loads of 'Southerners' as we call you up here now as well as Polish, eastern European etc - nice mixed bunch. Where I live, on the coast, there are lots of English OAPs as it is a nice retirement place - we call it 'God's waiting ground'!

Emz - hope you are feeling better.

Will have a look at all your montages today.
x

rumple- dont say that my dd is only 10weeks old i think she the youngest on here!!

marthahm · 18/01/2007 12:29

youngmum my dd has stopped sleeping through too, saying that though, we only got one or two nights when she did-that should cheer you up swizzler! she woke 5 times the night before last.
i love all of your pictures. it's great to see what all the other babies look like. all v cute. why are we all getting broody already. i keep asking myself if i'm mental, we've only just come out of 3 months of hell and i'm thinking wouldn't it be nice to have another!
i'm def coming to the meet up. i can do 11am too. will look for meet up thread

youngmum21 · 18/01/2007 12:35

5 times poor you you must of been exhausted i struggle to get up once!!!

I think the gale force winds mite of been one of the reason she has started to wake up they were terrible last nite and still are today which is why i think she keep moaning while she is having a nap
