pmore - very sad about your Gran.
Marthahm - glad you have made a decision you are happy with. I use Avent bottles too (have 6) and SMA Gold formula - re choosing formula I would see what is stocked in your local shop as that will be where you run to when you run out in the middle of the night! That was how we choose and it worked with both ds1 and ds2. I prepare the bottle with water then just leave them standing on the side (not in the fridge) and add formula as needed (have two of those formula pots), so ds2 has his milk at room temperature. Also have a small carton of ready made up stuff 'just in case', and until that is opened it can be kept at room temp. Hope that helps.
Gingeme - have seen that durex do latex free condoms - worth a look, if you are allergic to latex?
nicand2 - glad your move went well. As others have said, seek professional advice - does your surgery have speech therapist? Sounds similar to what happened to my friend's ds and he was diagnosed with verbal dyspraxia (not sure of spelling), which is sorted with speech therapy. Start hassling as the sooner you start the sooner you will see the benefits. By the way, my friend's ds is now 4 and just started reception with no problems. As she already has a dd, people were telling her that boys are lazy at speaking, etc etc, don't be fobbed off.
Emzickle - hope you have told your dh how you are feeling and that you are getting some support/rest. Difficult with a lo I know.
everyone else - morning! Going to rush and tidy the house now...
