hi, can i join? i have a dd born 8/1/04. i though id put a brief post on here as it seems a little neglected' - only 2 two posts in novenmber and none before this so far in december. then again, its not always easy with the independent dcs that we laughingly call 'children'. does anyone else's dc take charge of the house? my dd attempts to send me to the naughty step about twice a day - on average - and she wouldnt share her crisps with me today as i 'hadnt been a good girl'. mmmm.

ive been tearing my hair out trying to locate ANYTHING in dora the explorer or fif. woolworth, argos and toys r us have sold out of the decent stuff and ordering online wont arrive till after xmas.

what are your dcs into? any good suggestions for alternatives?

ps i'd never heard of dora or fif until a couple of weeks ago - i guess its something she picked up from nursery school, cos she doesnt watch much tv at home....is it just me who feels that their dc is more 'with it' and up-to-date than me?

hope everyone enjoys xmas and summons up enough energy to organise things for the pending birthdays.
